dr. dalh is the best male doctor i have had he is calming polite caring and will take the time to explain things he has phoned me many times at home to make sure thing and new treatments where going ok how many doctors do that? any one who has a chance to have him for a doctor TAKE IT he is fabulous

Frankly, this doctor is the best doctor I have ever been treated by. He has such a calming affect on me I feel like I have been to yoga after I see him. He is incredibly thorough, and explains things in plain language. This man is a well versed professional who knows his stuff. I can't recommend him highly enough, and this is coming from someone who hates going to see physicians.

After taking the medication Proscar I was left with persistent side effects after stopping the medication and I was referred to Dr. Dahl to be checked out and figure out if my hormone levels were abnormal. I had two sets of bloodwork taken 5 weeks apart and Dr. Dahl reviewed them with me. He basically just stated I was within the normal accepted range and said he couldn't help me. My levels were at the very low end up the accepted range, and the accepted range was for men from 20-65. I had just turned 20 years old so this isn't an appropriate level for someone my age. During the second appointment he simply brushed off my concerns and my list of mental/physical side effects that I am still enduring and left me with no option of being treated. I called back to discuss it more with him and he proceeded to rude, condescending and provided no other information and actually hung up on me. Very unprofessional. If you are referred to Dr. Dahl I suggest you ask for a second referral elsewhere

I am an insulin dependent diabetic for the past 40 years and Dr. Dahl has been my internal medicine specialist for 18. He is an excellent physician and very personable. I would recommend him to anyone, but particularly diabetics - he has a vast and current knowledge. Sadly, I am moving to Toronto - almost feel like flying back for appointments.

I was sent to Dr.Dahl for thyroid issues,I had had basic tests to confirm that I was hyperthyroid but not for cause.Dr.Dahl diagnosed me as having Graves disease and put me on a medication that caused me more issues than the problems associated to hyperthyroidism.I brought this up with Dr.Dahl but he was dismissive of what I had to say and refused to change the medicine and insisted I take a higher dose as it was not being effective.He did no further tests.......I was in London UK and was not functionable,I was sent for further tests and as I suspected I did NOT have Graves Disease and had a tumor on my Thyroid Gland,the specialists in London also felt I was allergic to the medicine Dr.Dahl refused to change and that over time the tumour would have carried on growing and the drugs were of no use to me.I came back to Vancouver for treatment not with Dr.Dahl and never saw him again.I should have laid a formal complaint against him due to his poor medical treatment and arrogant attitude.

I was getting nowhere with my other Endo. He spent an hour and half with me at my first appt. and switched my meds right away. He answered all my questions and made me feel like he actually understood my condition and knew how to help me. All I wanted was to feel normal again and within days of taking my new medication I felt more like my old self!

This specialists has to be the best Doctor in British Columbia. I have never come across any Doctor that has so kindness and tenderness as this Man. Dr. Dahl should be teaching all specialist on Bedside manner. I would recommend him to anyone with Endocrinology problems. Thank you for all your help Dr. Dahl

Dr. Dahl was my diagnosing doctor when I was 18 years old, I am now 30 and live in the USA but DR.Dahl still takes my phone calls and gives me his med opinion. Very kind and stands up for his patients.

He is a fabulous Dr. His voice is very soothing. He mades you feel very comfortable and at ease. He makes you feel that you are his one and only patient. I would recommend him.

very attentive, good beside manner, very thorough, made me feel like I was his most important patient (which I cannot see about a lot of specialists I have seen lately), willing to go the distance needed to find out what is causing my problem. I am very satisfied and grateful that I was referred to him.
