Ratings for Dr. Patricia A. Dreyfuss
3.5
Although always a wait, Dr Dreyfus and her stFf always give you the needed time and you never feel rushed. She is caring, knowledgeable and her stFf is second to none.
Dr. Dreyfuss delivered my first baby via C-Section. The scar is barely noticeable. She used staples which I found to be a bit unconventional but you can't even see where they were around my scar, unlike suture marks which are visible on me. I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia and was ordered to be on bed rest for a little over a month before it was time to induce labor. Yes, the wait is very long but she is extremely attentive and spends time with you answering whatever questions or concerns you may have, in detail. She is well worth the wait and when it is your time, she makes sure you get the attention you need. She kept a very close eye on me after my diagnosis and I credit her with keeping both me and my baby alive. Neither of us have any long-term effects. I dealt with some short-term effects and her medical advice for every issue was spot-on and went away when she said it would. Dr. Manlangit was also really great and SUPER nice! Just look at her wall behind the receptionist...that should make you feel comfortable that all of these women chose her to deliver their babies.
I've been going to Dr Dreyfuss for 10 years. Yes, I agree it is a very long wait but she is an awesome doctor so it's worth it! I was lucky enough to have her deliver ALL 4 of my babies with no complications and great recovery. Thank you Dr Dreyfuss! - Kim N.
I normally don't write reviews. But, I HAD it with this practice. They tell you NOT to leave a message on their answering machine. But, every time I call them, it takes many, many, many tries. All I get is the voicemail saying not to leave a message! I am calling during their business hours! It is absolutely ridiculous! Each time I go for my annual checkup, I have to wait a minimum of 1.5 hours. Therefore, I have plenty of opportunity to see what the office staff is doing. They are NOT busy. I don't understand why they don't answer the phone! In addition, there is no remainder for your appointments. I asked them about this and was told they get busy and don't have the time to do it. I guess we are still in the stone ages where nothing is automated! As to Dr. Dreyfuss, I don't have much to say, she spends less than 15 minutes with me and is out the door. After so many years of wasting hours with them, I am switching doctors. Why did I wait so long? Because when I move to this area 16 years ago, I started out with her and I tried to keep the same doctors. But, I am throwing in the towel...15 years late.
Let me wait at least one hour each visit. Will not come back for my next pregnancy
Nice doctor with great knowledge. HOWEVER, every time I went to my appointment, I always waited for at least 1.5 hours before she was available for me.
Office routinely runs several hours late. I had a problem that needed more immediate attention, so I went to a clinic for a more timely appointment. The clinic doctor diagnosed me with a more serious problem than had been initially thought, and suggested I go to my primary ob/gyn for treatment. When I called her office and explained the situation, the nurse I spoke to first told me that she couldn't find my file, but it may have been archived. When I told her what the clinic doctor told me, she told me she had never heard of it and would have to call me back. After speaking to Dr. Dreyfus, she called me back to inform me the office would "prefer to remain uninvolved". I am not in a situation where I have a potentially serious problem and no doctor. Had I known I would be turned away if I had a problem, I would never have gone to her office to begin with.
I agree that she has a nice bedside manner. But she better be nice, after having her patients wait HOURS. This isn't occasionally, it's always a long wait. I've never waited longer at any other doctor's office. Most people dread going to the gyno because of the exam, i dread going because of the wait.
What can I say she is just simple the best.Always has time to go over any concerns you might have.So happy that I found this wonderful caring friend and Dr. Many Thanks to you and your staff.
The staff are wonderfully friendly and professional. I have only been going there for 1 year (before and throughout a full-term pregnancy, which she unfortunately did not get to deliver), and even though the wait for her can be long, I've never heard such wonderful things about a doctor from her waiting patients. You will certainly be glad you chose her, if and when your turn comes that you need her. She is warm, patient, informative, friendly, and positive. She really listens when you talk...and she talk TO you never AT you.
