I am a 52 yr old active female with large uterine fibroids that have caused me to be anemic for most of my life. It would be flooding during that time and I was not even able to walk up a flight of stairs without being out of breath and heart racing. I have gone to 4 ob/gyns and all have said I need to have a hystectomy. One said "even if I were his sister, he would recommend a hysterectomy". One said even if I go to 15 dr's I might find one who will say not to have it. Thank God, I found Dr. Konsker. He fought long and hard with my Insurance Co who wouldn't approve an endometrial ablation. They finally relented and the (painless) procedure was done in his office. I cannot tell you how happy I am. The bleeding was light even though it was during my menstrual cycle. I was fine after 4 days. Back to normal activity after 7 days. Paslyn and his staff were wonderful. Dr. Konsker is a gifted physician and I am forever grateful that I was fortunate enough to have met him. Barbara

I switched to Dr. Konsker after he assisted in the C-Section of my 1st child and was called as an advisor on my 2nd. He helped me and my husband through a miscarriage, and even returned a phone call while he was vacationing with his family. Recently I had the Essure procedure done, and it was surprisingly easy. His professionalism and knowledge put me right at ease, and his staff was very informative and helpful. The procedure was done in his office, and was, as he said it would be, painless. I would suggest Dr. Konsker to anyone, and my daughters will be his patients when the time comes.

2 weeks ago I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. As I admitted myself into the Hospital for what I thought was going to be a normal delivery I never imagined it would turn out to be an emergency C-Section. My placenta was quickly separating from the walls of my interior causing the baby's heart rate to drop. The baby wasn't receiving enough oxygen to his brain. Dr. Konsker acted quickly and efficiently in rushing me to the OR for an emergency C-Section. He was able to deliver my baby safely and without any harm. Today I have a healthy and very awake Baby boy because of Dr. Konsker. Words can not explain the gratitude. Thank you.

We will be forever grateful to Dr. Konsker. Prior to meeting him, we suffered a very difficult miscarriage due to oversight by our previous OB doctor who had been recommended by our IVF doctor. When we became pregnant again, we asked our personal physician for the best OB doctor in the Boca or surrounding area and he gave us one name, Dr. Konsker. Dr. Konsker was fantastic. Our pregnancy was very difficult with several unexpected twists and turns. At one point, we were counting the days hoping to just make it close to 24 weeks. It seemed so far away at the time. We finally delivered a beautiful, healthy, 8lb. 11oz. baby boy only 4 days from our due date and Dr. Konsker was there as promised to "catch" him. We only made it through this difficult period because of his superior knowledge and dedication to his patients. We absolutely would never consider switching Ob/Gyn doctors. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for the best in Ob/Gyn care.

Dr. Konsker has been my Doctor for 6 + years and the only Dr. I look forward to seeing! I find Dr. K. and his staff to be caring, compassionate and very knowledgable. They take the time to listen instead of rushing off to see the next patient which is rare in the medical profession here in FL. I am blessed to have Dr. K and his staff and know I am being well cared for...

Doctor Konsker has been my doctor for the past thirteen years. I am 44 years old and Dr. Konsker actually saved my life. After my daughter was born I had to have an emergency appendectomy which my family physician was unable to detect. Three weeks after my daughter was born by cesarean I had a bad stomach cramp that I thought might be some sort of flu. I went to my general doctor who told me to go to my OBGYN. When I arrived to Doctor Konskers office he immediately knew I was in trouble, he took a blood test and knew right away my life was in danger if I didn't get to the hospital quick. You see my blood test detected I was in danger of my appendix rupturing. Doctor Konsker called ahead to the hospital and had a doctor waiting for me. My dad dropped me off at the emergency room door and I was wheeled in for an emergency operation. I owe my life to Doctor Konsker and if he hadn't worked as quickly and called ahead for me who knows if I would be around today.

I first became a patient of Dr Konsker yrs ago in Dr Kowalsky's office.I had a kidney transplant in 1998 and have been treated "very special" by Dr. Konsker. He is always so careful to take into account my meds and makes sure that my kidney will not be compromised.Luckily, I have been stable with normal paps, etc.I'm 51 yrs old and thought I was thru menopause, after no periods for 8 mos.I then had what I would call a hemorrhage for over 2 wks and repeated the process 2 weeks after that.My transplant dr's panicked when my hematocrit became dangerously low. That same day Dr Konsker did an inoffice ultrasound, hysterscopy & biopsy. He and Pas were so supportive to me, hubby and our son.No cancer so I had a Uterine Ablation. With my kidney, I wasn't able to have anesthetic.Dr Konsker counted down that long 8 minutes for me and got me through it with such kindness.Pas was a doll, too.I'm completely healed with all my parts in tact.I LOVE DR KONSKER!The staff was great!THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH XX00

Dr.Konsker (and Pas) are the best. I've been a patient for about 10 years. They've always been there for me. Just last week I had an ablation in the office. A few friends told me of bad experiences with other doctors with their ablation....I was nervous. It could not have gone better for me. I would recommend Dr. Konsker to anyone

I have used Dr. Knosker for many years now an he has delivered bothe my children. While I was a high risk pregnancy due to fertility, he was the most knowledgable OB i have heard of! I don't think there is much that he hasn't seen and that he and his staff have not dealt with. After the birth of my son, Dr. Konsker also diagnosed my gallstones - something Wellington Hospital and an internist couldn't do! He compassion and his concern for me as a patient surpasses that I have heard my friends talk about! Since then he has diagnosed and treated my other problems with the Essure and Endomeatrial Ablation and I have been extremely happy that I had it all done. The second procedure was more painful than I had anticipated - but Dr. Konsker and his staff (Paz in particular) were wonderful and coached me through it! I highly recommend Dr. Konsker to anyone in need of an OB/GYN.

I truly believe Dr.Konsker is doing what he was put in this world to do.The reviews are extremes.I honestly have felt both but after 8yrs,2 sons he delivered, it’s Tremendous Respect,Appreciation and Gratitude for him, his Loyal(makethemcrazynodoubt)Great staff he has built, retained around him.1yr ago I had an ablation to relieve heavy, painful periods. He does the procedure in his office with minimal discomfort, quick recovery,1day.My unending period has diminished to 1day!What I’ve learned about being inconvenienced and upset from an endless wait, only to have a quick checkup, ask q’s fast ladies,is that he was with a patient. One in her 1st tri with placenta privia, one having a miscarriage, one with a baby coming during your appt/c-sec time(yes it happened to me), one whose baby’s umbilical cord wrapped around it’s head...He has an Amazing ability to care for and provide care for each patient. Please know when You,Your Baby REALLY need his undivided attention,You Will Get It!

I had another OB Dr. prior to Dr. Konsker ,I was not comfortable with the way he was handling my case and I wanted a second opinion, because I felt this Dr. was practicing on me.Going to Dr. Konsker is the best decision I have made in my life, his staff the best, very friendly and accommodating I don't thing there has ever been a time they have been rude. Dr. konsker cure my cervical cancer, and to this day that disease has left my body and I now have two children which he delivered and I could not be happier, they were not the easiest pregnancies, I fail with both pregnancies and he was there the whole time,as well as his staff,I felt bad to actually have to call him from the emergency room late at night because he also deserves a life like the rest of us and I can thank him and his staff enough for all they have done for me.I am healthy today because of him and I don't care what anyone says, to me and my family he is the best doctor,God send, an angel.Thank you Dr. Konsker&Staff

Dr. Konsker was extremely friendly and family-like. I felt very comfortable for him to be my doctor. I had a c-section delivery on May 5, 2009 with my 1st son, Anthony. I love his bed-side manners and his willingness to talk to me about an concerns or questions I may have had. Overall, my experience was very pleasant and I can't wait for Dr. Konsker to deliver another child that I may have in the future. I definitely recommend Dr. Konsker to anyone looking for an OB/GYN!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Konsker's for many years. Usually just for my yearly check up. I always found him and his staff to be professional and wonderful people. I was so impressed with his professionalism and experience that I have recommended him to all my family and friends. His experience and in depth explanation of everything that is going on is very comforting.
Recently I had post menopausal bleeding. I called and got an appointment immediately. Dr. Konsker found a polyp in my uterus and recommended that I have an endometrial ablation. He assured me that this will take care of the bleeding. I had the procedure done the next week and as he promised I was up and around the next day back at work. I was never worried as I know Dr. Konsker is the most caring Doctor I know You are not just a number in his office – but a person.
Thank you Dr. Konsker and staff for all your support and dedication. We love you guys.

I saw Dr. Konsker due to discomfort I had in the lower part of my abdomen and some ongoing bleeding after having heavy periods. Dr. Konsker conducted an ultrasound that confirmed the presence of a fibroid and a polyp in my uterus. He first removed the polyp and fibroid and send them for lab analysis to rule out the presence of any cancerous cells. A week later, he conducted a procedure known as "endometrial ablation", to reduce and perhaps eliminate for good my heavy periods. One of his staff contacted my insurance and, since my plan didn't cover the entire cost of the procedure and my deductible, Dr. Konsker offered me a payment plan to pay for it. I just had the procedure last week. While it's too soon to tell if I will ever have a period again, I feel so much better now and the discomfort in my abdomen is gone. I am very satisfied with the level of attention and caring that I received from Dr. Konsker and his staff. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Konsker and his staff were very helpful and professional while being dedicated since the beginning to the end of my "essure" tubal ligation. Dr konsker let me spoke with the product manufacturer and, explained everything so well to my spouse and I that I had no surprises or questions. I was out of the office ina few minutes, the whole procedure took about 5 minutes, there were minor cramping which Dr Konsker and his staff managed very well. I would reccomend this to anybody looking for such a procedure.

If you are having a baby maybe this is the right doctor for you. But do not go see this doctor for anything gyno related-it will be a waste of your co-payment!! And if you need a copy of any test results you will be burdening the nurses- so do not even bother!!!

Wow, i can honestly say that i believe someone in Dr. Konsker's office must be writing all of these GREAT reviews. Dr. Konsker is consistently late. Every single appointment you will be waiting for at least 45 minutes to an hour. When you finally get into his office, he spends maybe 5 minutes with you. This is my first pregnancy and I can honestly say he has not given me ONE SINGLE piece of information as to what to eat, where we are giving birth, test resutls, etc. When I ask him a question he looks at me like I am wasting his time. I see there are some good reviews on here but I can assure you that the not so good reviews are completely correct. I went to this doc because of the great reviews received but I would never in my life recommend him. I am now 20 weeks pregnant and am switching doctors. His office staff is NOT great. They are extremely rude. They talk poorly about other patients and everyone in the waiting room can hear. I am completely dissatisfied with his service.

What great results. It's nice not to bleed, have no hormones & enjoy life again.I cannot thank Dr Konsker,Pas,Joy& Mary for all their love & care.If you need a confident, qualified, compassionate, professional, educated Dr & staff call for an appointment today! I have been seeing Dr. Konsker for 8 years, he has delivered three beautiful girls for me, and last week he did the essure procedure for me. There aren't enough amazing words that I could say about Dr. Konsker and his staff, but what I can sum into words is that I love them. Dr. Konsker and his staff are the best you can get. He has seen me through the hardest and most amazing moments in my life, and he listens to every crazy notion that comes into my mind during my pregnancies and after. He and his staff have tolerated their fair share of my antics and they have become more that just a doctor and a nurse, they are people I can rely on for more than just pregnancies and procedures, they listen to my questions and problems, and they do the best they can to provide me with what I need to help me with my life. I with out a doubt love them! They have become friends!

Dr Konsker is the best OB/GYN I have ever had. When my husband and I told him we were interested in a permanent birth control method, he told us about Essure. I had never heard of it and could not believe how easy it sounded-- painless, in-office, non-surgical, nearly immediate recovery? Well, I had the procedure done today and it was as simple as he said it would be. I think the actual procedure took about 3 minutes and I got to watch the monitor while he inserted the springs into my fallopian tubes. I felt no pain or discomfort and just had to sleep of the valium I took 45 minutes before the procedure started. Woo Hoo!! I would recommend this procedure (especially with Dr Konsker) to anyone!! I have to use a back up method for 3 months until we can verify the proper complete closing of the tubes-- I will be sure to update my rating then as well. :) I have been his patient for 11 years and will continue as long as I live in the Boca area.

I have been a patient of Dr. Konsker's for over 5 years. He is an amazing doctor. He delivered both of my children. During my pregnancy's he was very caring and helpful answering any questions I had. He has a wonderful staff who make you feel very welcome. Recently I had a health issue that I was very upset about. I felt like another doctor was diagnosing me wrong and prescribing me with something I really did not need. I called Dr Konsker's office and he came on the phone with me. The next day he did not take a lunch and had me come into his office. After talking with me he properly diagnosed me and prescribed me with the proper medication. I have never felt better!! I can not thank him enough.

I am a very apprehensive and nervous patient. Every visit to the doctor is always filled with great anxiety, but he always puts me at ease once there. Doctor Kenneth Konsker has been my doctor for ten years, and he always gives me great confidence. Last week I had an ablation procedure in his office. He and his staff were extremely comforting, understanding and reassuring. The procedure itself was sucessful and it was over with very quickly. I slept through the worst and felt minimal discomfort afterward. This procedure was effective and has improved my quality of life greatly. I don't know if I would have had this sensitive procedure done with any other doctor. I am profoundly grateful to my doctor, Dr. Konsker. Sincerely, Pilar Perez

Dr. Konsker has been my doctor since I first became with pregnant with my son, whom Dr. Konsker delivered. I needed a C-Section after laboring for over 12 hours, and I found him to be an excellent doctor. My scar is minimal - around 4 inches long - and Dr. Konsker always answered any questions I had and was always on time. After the birth of my son, Dr. Konsker inserted an IUD. Recently, I decided I was ready for more kids and went in to have it removed, only to find out it had become embedded in my uterus! It was so embedded, I was concerned I would need an operation to have it removed. Dr. Konsker suggested he try to remove it in the office first and, thankfully, he was able to remove it without surgery! Dr. Konsker is a very skilled doctor, and I value and trust his ability. His nurse, Paslyn, is WONDERFUL and held my hand through the whole procedure - I am grateful to them both.

I had the Essure Tubal Ligation on 2/11/09. Dr. Konsker's and his staff were very knowledgeable and comforting. The procedure was cutting edge; I watched everything on the monitor. It took less than 10 minutes and I only experienced slight discomfort during the procedure with minor cramps the next two days. There were no post-op restrictions, I was up and running as usual. I would recommend this to anyone wanting permanent sterilization. It was such an easy procedure. Dr. Konsker will also be performing my Endometrial Ablation in a few months. I fully trust Dr. Konsker and his staff. I also appreciate that his staff is always available to take my calls. I feel that they all have my best interest at heart. I have been using him since 1996. He's also delivered both of my children.

I can not say enough about what an amazing experience I had with my first child. Dr. Konsker was not only someone I trusted when he gave me advise but he was quick to respond to my calls in regards to any question that I had with my pregnancy. My appointments were always on time. I had never had stitches before, never mind a surgery, and with my baby being Franklin Breech, a C section had to be done. I felt very reassured going into the surgery that Dr. Konsker would take care of me and my baby. Afterwards, my pediatrician also stated that he had never seen a better circumcision and has asked me multiple times who completed it. I can not wait to have another baby, Dr. Konsker and his staff are second to none when it comes to South Florida doctors!

I have been a patient of Dr. Konsker for over 10 years. He is a wonderful and warm doctor. He delivered my 4th child 10 years ago without any problems whatsoever. I have been on the birth control pills for a very long time. I discussed this with Dr. Konsker and he suggested a procedure called Essure. Essure is a permanent birth control procedure. The procedure is performed in Dr. Konsker's office without being put to sleep. Insurance covers the procedure. It takes a few hours in his office and has very little discomfort. The next day, I was back to my normal routine. I highly recommend this procedure. Dr. Konsker was very caring and made the procedure go very smoothly. Thank you, Dr. Konsker.

I went to Dr Konsker for Essure sterilization, which he performed IN OFFICE, saving me hundreds. Personally, I'm not one for doctors and was quite nervous. I made several calls with questions and concerns, all of which were handled professionally and courteously, twice he personally took my call! Dr Konsker was consistently punctual, courteous, respectful and patient! During the procedure I had complete confidence in him and the team, which included an Essure rep. Dr Konsker's assistant, Haz ensured my greatest comfort, even holding my hand, making this more memorable than any of my 3 childbirth deliveries! Due to my experience so far, I have complete peace of mind knowing he will personally be performing my 3 month post op success confirmation! While I'm certain he has a very full schedule, I never felt like I was a number being pushed through a turn stile! 1000 letters are too few to express my amazing experience! THANK YOU and congratulations on your accomplishments with Essure.

Konsker is in it for the money only. The one time I had a question for him, he treated it like an inconvenience. Hes sugary sweet as long as everything went smooth. At 38 weeks, I started having contractions - I called him, and went to the hospital at midnight. When I was 8cm, he told the nurse (over the phone) to give me something to hold off labor, he'd be in in the morning.
The nurse had a few words to say about that, and he grudgingly showed up, caught the baby, and was out of there in less than five minutes. He didn't let my husband cut the cord, and refused to collect cord blood. A few days later he made a comment about me having the baby so late at night. Well, I found out from the hospital staff that I was the first person to get Konsker out of bed after midnight in about two years, and he greatly disliked that. It seems to me that he's only happy when things go smoothly, as soon as he has to put some effort into it, his job becomes an inconvenience. Scary sticky sweet.

Dr. Konsker saved my life! My third child was delivered via c-section on August 22, 2008. What seemed like a normal routine c-section quickly changed once Dr. Konsker opened me up. He discovered an incredible amount of scar tissue in my pelvic area. The scar tissue created a kink in my bowel. Once the baby was safely delivered, Dr. Konsker took on the task of "cleaning" out the scar tissue and repairing the kink created in my bowel. It was apparent that the situation at hand was serious however, I had every confidence that Dr. Konsker would take care of me. Never once while I lay there and saw the look of worry on my husband's face was I concerned about my well being. Dr. Konsker is an incredibly talented physician and surgeon. He has been my OB/Gyn for 8 years and has delivered all three of my children and also followed me for other gynecological conditions. He has always been thorough, courteous and has always given me his undivided attention. Staff is great as well!

I came to Dr. Konsker after a bad experience with another OB. I had an IUD inserted and it was extremely painful. The other doctor told me that the IUD was inserted correctly and that there was no reason for me to be complaining of pain. Eventually, I had to have the IUD removed. I found Dr. Konsker through a recommendation from a friend. He recognized the fact that I have a complex medical history which includes an ongoing medical condition as well as an difficult anatomy because of fibroid tumors. He suggested that we try to insert the IUD again, and that he felt he could get it into proper position. I agreed and am happy to report that the IUD is functioning properly and is totally comfortable. Dr. Konsker addressed my concerns with knowledge and professionalism. I would highly recommend him and his staff and believe that you would have a difficult time finding a more qualified or caring physician!

Dr. Konser has delivered the 3 most most beautiful girls one Mother/Father could ever dream of via c-section. The only reason it was via csection was during my labor with my 1st preg Dr K insisted that he perform a csection due to my pelvic bone being too thin to allow the baby to come through naturally. He was right and demanded we do it immediately as the baby was in destress being my first baby I was scared. But he assured me over and over again I/baby would be fine. And of course I/baby were. Since then I have had 2 successful preg and had recently been diagnosed with Adnemyosis by Dr Konsker. This was after dealing with bleeding and cramps for 12 mo. During that time he performed a Uterine Ablation procedure in his off which was a very pleasant experience, although he very specifically explained to me that if it is adenemyosis it would not work/he was right again so working he just recently performed a hysterectomy and I am cured of all bleeding/cramping. He is amazing! Thank u Dr K!!

Dr. Konsker at my annual exam recommended a procedure called Endometrial Ablation as I was having heavy periods which in turn were leaving me very anemic. He took the time to explain in great detail the procedure and how it would help me. His staff also gave me literature about the procedure to take home and read. I had the procedure done one week ago today, and I can not tell you how happy I am with the results. It did not hurt at all, and I would highly recommend Dr Konsker. He and his staff were wonderful.

Dr. Konsker saved my life. I started using him 5 years ago.I recently went to see him for one problem and because of my age he was not satisfied with the results. After preforming an internal sonogram he scheduled me for a Hysteroscopy and then he said I needed an Endometrial Ablation. Because he is so thorough he found pre cancerous cells. Left undetected I would have had a major problem down the road. Both procedures were done in his office.I was extremely nervous about not doing the ablation in the hospital. He assured me it was not necessary and that I would be given enough oral meds that I would feel nothing. I put my faith in his words and not only did I feel absolutely nothing but the results turned out great. He is one of the few doctors who are able to preform this procedure without you having to go to the hospital. Not only was he informative and so caring he has surrounded himself by the most wonderful staff who help put you at ease at all times.

I am currently 5 months pregnant with my second child. We lived in NY during the birth of my first and I was recommended to Dr. Konsker by someone who has since also switched physicians. I had some spotting and light bleeding early on and called his answering service, was placed on hold for 12 minutes and ultimately disconnected--twice! After going to the ER, he never called to see how I was. Neither he nor his staff informed me what was to take place during my visits (tests, etc.); he called one of his staff "useless", after she left the room--in my presence. He is condescending and patronizing, as well. The office never forwarded my AFP results to my specialist and when contacted for the third time they first suggested the specialist obtain them from my new OB/GYN; then offered only half the test was done and I needed to have the rest completed. When questioned why I hadn't been informed and why they couldn't forward what they had, the office staff hung up the phone on me!

When I moved to Florida, I was 7 months pregnant and needed a Dr. fast. I had a terrible experience all around and swore I would never go back. I was lucky when I got pregnant with my daugter, and was introduced to Dr. Konsker. When I met him he tells me he treats all his patients as if they were his own wife; and that he is always there to deliver. Now you can imagine how skeptical I was. Dr. Konsker was always thorough and kind and I loved him for this, but here is where it gets amazing. My daughter came 3 weeks early and I had to have an emergency C-Section due to a rare complication called an Umbilical Cord prolapse. The nurse Kelly put her arm in to get the umbilical cord out of the way so she could breathe and held it till Dr.Konsker got her out which was in about 2 minutes. He was on the phone with the staff the whole time driving over, and got there in a flash. I owe my daughters life to Dr. Konsker and Kelly I know this and am forever in their debt. They are my angels.

We have been patients of Dr. Konsker for the past 7 years and think the world of Him. He has delivered 3 of our 3 children and is scheduled to deliver the 4th on June 30th 2008. Dr. Konsker is the ultimate Doctor, he has guided my wife and I through times of uncertainty, taken the time to sit with us and calm all of our fears. We absolutely love Dr. Konsker, we have lived in Port Saint Lucie for the past 4 going on five years and we drive and have driven down to Boca to Dr. Konsker only to receive the best care, attention and profession service available. Dr. Konsker has had the same foundational and exceptional staff for the past 7 years which speaks volumes in today's economy. If this were not so, there is no way we would drive over 150 miles per visit! We could not imagine placing the health and care of not only our unborn children but my wife as well in the hands of anyone else. I could write books of praise regarding Dr. Konsker and his staff. They are simply the best!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Konsker's for 8 years. I was referred to him in the first trimester of my second pregnancy as I was having complications. I was treated with the utmost care from the onset. I v-backed that pregnancy with ease as well as a wonderful delivery of my third. I have had numerous biopsies and abnormal test results all which have been handled with care, timeliness, and tremendous knowledge. This is not what I'm writing about today though. Three weeks ago he successfully performed an endometrial ablation on me. Seventeen days later I began to have pain. He instructed me to come to his office immediately. Once there he determined my problem was not a result of the procedure but something altogether different. After calming me down for a while he personally drove me to the hospital. Upon arrival he introduced me to the attending who immediately placed me in bed with IV. He then orchestrated my care. Within two days I underwent Gallbladder surgery and feel great.

I have been a patient for over 5 years and have not had children (yet). I agree his office staff is pretty rude and he is always in a rush. I have found when I have questions after the exam, he doesn't look up from writing on my chart long enough to make eye contact and doesn't really answer my questions. After reading some of the comments regarding childbirth, I am nervous about him delivering my child when the time comes. I am considering switching doctors but don't really know who to switch to.

My wife was rushed to WB Medical with severe abdominal pain and diagnosed with ovarian cancer by the radiologist who had a cat scan, ultra sound and x-ray done. Additionally she had a dropping blood count. Dr K was on vacation and covering Dr. did not have privelages to WB, After 3 days of nothing there, I AMA'd her and took her to Dr. K' office, her gyno for 9 years, he did an ultra sound and said she was bleeding to death from a ruptured cyst. He did laproscopic Surgery that afternoon and she went home the next day. The so called "best" radiologist in WB had 3 test and mis-diagnosed, Dr. K took one look at the ultra sound and saved her life. He also delivered my second child 2 weeks early due to dropping fluid levels. This test was done by the hospital so it was not him trying to accomadate his own schedule. Healthy and no complications. Say what you want, the man knows his medicine.

I have been a patient of Dr. Konsker's for approximately 5 years now.I switched over to him during my first pregnancy.I had PIH and was just miserable. He was quick to respond to phone calls, and always made time for my questions.I have now had two children that he has delivered with no complications.I was recently diagnosed with a cervical ectopic pregnancy.(Very Rare)He admitted me to Boca Community Hospital.Unfortunately none of the Dr.'s felt comfortable performing the procedure needed to terminate the pregnancy and save my uterus and life.He went above and beyond calling me to keep me informed, and recommending me to The Univ. of Miami Hospital where the procedure was completed. His staff was completely courteous and outstanding in helping my husband and I through this experiance.Dr. Konsker was fantastic at all the follow ups taking time to make sure my recovery was uneventful. He is an outstanding physician, whom I have trusted my life with.

His staff is always helpful and happy to acomodate your needs. Dr. Konsker calls you back and returns calls when you need them, he is caring and does not rush you out of his office.I would strongly recomend him as a doctor.

Dr K is only concerned with his schedule; not what is best for you or your baby. He lies to his patients (for example, "you'll never fit this baby out") and is only interested in 100% induction and c-section rates. If you go into labor on your own, when it is not convenient to him, he gets mad. I have worked with him and would never recommend him to anyone.

Horrible experience! I went to Konsker for 8 years and had my first baby with him. Never again. I have since switched doctors. I was induced for 24 hours was kept in pain and wouldn't be given an epidural. When it was convenient for Konsker, he finally gave me a C-section. If you do not want a c-section, do not go to this doctor. He does things according to his schedule.

I love Dr. Konsker! I would recommend him and I have to all of my friends and family. I had trouble getting pregnant and he was the first doctor who actually took the time to listen to me and assist me in my process. He treated my husband and I with the utmost respect and said he would do his best to help us get pregnant. With a little patience and a little help, we were pregnant within a year. Happy to say we just delivered and a beautiful healthy boy and we owe it all to him. I will always stick with him and his staff for all they have done for us. I can't wait to have hime deliver our other children. Thank you Dr. Konsker and staff!

Dr. Konsker is fantastic doctor. He attended my first c-section and performed my second, both of which were emergencies. Now I have two healthy children. He is a very knowledgable professional and a funny, friendly person. Sure you have to wait sometimes, but as the number of ob's in this state diminishes, I don't mind waiting for a doctor like Dr. Konsker. I thinks his staff is great, helpful, and knowledgable. I recommend Dr. Konsker to all of my friends and family, whether they already have a doctor or not.

Only reason I kept seeing him for years since Dr. Kowalsky retired is that I could get in & out of his office on my lunch hr. with time to spare. Today was my last visit. Waited over half an hour in a flimsy paper gown while he chatted with his wife. Then another 10 min. while he chatted with someone else. THEN he took a patient that was there after me. No soap in bathroom. Staff rude, loud and unprofessional. If you're part of their "social club", they treat you great. Otherwise, not so much. I put my clothes back on and walked out. If they try to send me a bill, they'll not be liking me much! Dr. Kowalsky was wonderful and I think he'd be livid if he knew what Dr. Konsker did to his practice.

I have to say that last comment is so far from the truth!!! Dr. Konsker does not think he is God nor is he narcissitic!! Dr. Konsker saved me last week from a possible premature labor and he took every precaution to make sure I recovered. Last week I was having extreme discomfort and I called Dr. Konsker's office and they had me come in immediately to get checked out. There was no wait and I was seen as soon as I got to his office. He had his concerns and as a result called the hospital and sent me there directly where they ran tests, etc. per Dr. Konsker's request and again he was concerned and had me stay overnight. Next day he was there early in the morning to check on me. He was patient, extremely caring and great bedside manner. Dr. Konsker and his staff of Paz, Joan and Joy are great! I can't even imagine even saying anything negative about Dr. Konsker because he is so passionate about his career as a doctor and really does care about his patients. Excellent Doctor!!!!

I am currently going through my first pregnancy and happily going through it with Dr. Konsker. I had a lot of gynelogical issues before getting pregnant that he handled with care. I couldnt be happier to have him as my doctor and my husband loves him too. His staff is absolutely amazing from Joy in the front to Pax and Joan, the nurses. They are like family to me and i've only been with them for a year. Dr. Konsker is so extremely thorough and doesnt take any chances...if you dont feel right or if you have a question, he has you come right in...the same day if he feels it's necessary. The nurses are happy to answer any questions when you call in. I thinks so much of all of them, I recommended my mother and several friends to see Dr. Konsker and they loved him too. He's very blunt and to the point but isnt that what you want in a doctor? He has top notch equipment, clean and beautiful offices and is knowledgeable on anything i've asked him. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

You have to find the right doctor for you. Bottom line. Dr. Konsker is a great doctor in my book and the right doctor for me. He has all the latest equipment, he is very well educated in his field and he knows his stuff. He is not afraid to tell you how it is - and that may put some people off. He personally delivered 2 pregnancies of mine - both high risk and saw me through every step of the way with excellent bedside manner. He helped me literally cure myself of PCOS because he was so current on what could help as most Drs wouldn't have suggested what medical means he did. He has every right to be confident in his practice and his staff is busy - but they are not rude. They call me back immediately and even call to check on me. Dr Konsker will be delivering my 3rd child - i have been with him for 10 years and even travel now from out of state for my visits because nobody out there compares to him. He even gave me his personal cell number 2 use - how many doctors do that?!

These past two comments definitely do not sound like Dr. Konsker. He is totally opposite of these negative comments. I have been to other ob-gyns and have to say that Dr. Konsker is the best and most thorough. He is NOT rude and impatient. On the contrary he spends the necessary time you need and he is very thorough in his work. I am extremely comfortable and secure knowing he will be delivering my baby. He delivered my sister's baby and she could not be happier. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to see Dr. Konsker and he is pretty accurate when it comes to your appointment time. When I called Dr. Konsker on off hours with some concerns and questions. He called be back within five minutes. He is very caring of his patients. The staff is very kind and personable as well. He is EXCELLENT!!!!!

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!! He and his staff are very rude, possibly unstable as well. I left my first visit feeling confident and had a completely different experience on my second visit. He was extrememly unprofessional. His staff acted very inappropiately as well. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had in any type of doctors office. His staff actually called me four times in one hour, leaving rude messages, to tell me erroneous information about insurance claims. My husband came with me on my second visit and was completely ignored by doctor and staff. Plus he effortlessly over heard the doctor cursing on the phone. The list goes on.

Dr. Konsker has got to be the best doctor! He is so thorough and shows concern for his patients. I called his office regarding my own concerns during my pregnancy and was told to come in that day so he could check to make sure everything was okay. I was amazed he could fit me in that quick. I was pleasantly surprised that as soon as I got to the office there was only a 5 minute wait. I expected a longer wait because I didn't even have an appointment. He is truly the BEST!!!! Rude, arrogant, rushes through the exam. Always tries to get you back for another appointment when the results (if normal) can be relayed via telephone. Found another doctor who is much more patient friendly and just as qualified. Seems from reading these evals that you either love him or hate him. Maybe he is nice to some and rude to others, I don't know. I believe those who recommend him, everyones experience is different. BUT, mine (three visits) have all been pretty awful, so I have moved on. One thing is for certain, he is not a doctor that would respond well to a very shy patient (he will roll right over her) or a very strong willed one (he will be offended by your questions).

I have to agree - the negative comments made regarding Dr. Konsker are COMICAL!!!! Not only comical but ludicrous! I am a patient of Dr. Konsker and NEVER did I have a negative or bad experience or visit with him. I find Dr. Konsker and his staff to be very kind and informative. Dr. Konsker is punctual when it comes to my office appointment and does take the time with me to explain everything that is going on during my visit. His staff is right on top of everything as well. They all make you feel comfortable and treat you as a person rather than just another statistic. Dr. Konsker and his staff get a rating of the best in my book. I believe that the negative comments are brought on possibly by patients that are egocentrical selfish and demanding or patients that are just wanting to find something wrong with perfection. I went to several Ob-gyns in the past and never have they been as thorough and caring as Dr. Konsker and his staff and I recommend them highly!!!!

I FIND SOME OF THE PREVIOUS COMMENTS ALMOST COMICAL. I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT OF HIS FOR ALMOST 10 YEARS AND WHATS INCREDIBLE IS HIS ENERGY AND PUCTUALITY DESPITE PROBABLY BUSIEST PRACTICE IN BOCA. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A DOCTORS OFFICE WHERE THE SAME OFFICE PERSONEL HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE MY INITIAL VISIT. PREVIOUS COMMENTS IN A NEGATIVE FASHION WERE PROBABLY PATIENTS SENT TO COLLECTIONS OR RELEASED FROM PRACTICE. I REMEMBER EXCELLENT F/U BY HIS MAIN NURSE WHO MADE SURE I CAME IN FOR F/U PAP OR I WAS GOING TO BE DISCHARGED. SENT AT LEAST 20 FRIENDS TO HIM WHO ARE ALL VERY HAPPY. I once again have to say Dr. Konsker is excellent! He is very punctual for getting in to see you and I was seen quickly. Called one day prior to my appointment and the staff got me in the next day. The staff is very nice. Dr. Konsker explained everything to me through my visit. I have to disagree with the other posts regarding his inappropriate comments and his abruptness. He was nothing of the sort in my visit and makes you feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation/exam. He is very informative and definitely does not brush off your concerns in any way! I was very uncomfortable by the fact that he suggested that I had had many partners while it is not the case. He is not a good listener. He gets irritated and intimidating if I wanted to ask questions or for better explanations. When I asked him about certain pains I was experiencing he told me it was normal. I knew it didn't feel right and it made me very anxious. After I switched to another doctor who was patient enough to explain to me that it had to do with my overall prognosis and it could be dealt with through medication and knowledge. This was something that he could have taken the time to explain to me and help me avoid the pain and anxiety. So I am happy that I am seeing another doctor. I was left in the dark and made to feel bad for asking questions. The staff rude mostly.

dr konsker was recommended to me by my sister who is a nurse, so i thought he would be great. he dismissed my pain and told me it was normal, i know my body and i knew what i was feeling was not normal. i found a new doctor. my new doctor found 2 tumors in my uterus and right away scheduled surgery for me, dr konsker didnt listen to me and that is the most important thing for a doctor to do.

Dr. K is a compassionate, caring doctor. When I had m/cd quints, he sat in the hospital with his arm around my husband crying. He can be abrupt and he won't offer you much information that he feels you don't need, but that's his manner. I was a patient of his, then left, then came back b/c in this area -- I couldn't find anyone better. Another poster commented on a too quick exam. Personally, that's one of the reasons I like him best -- no more discomfort than necessary. He is a bit abrupt in his dialogue, but this is south Florida and all doctors are inundated with patients, I have yet to meet a doctor of any specialty who isn't abrupt to some extent. He is NEVER inappropriate with his exams (contrary to another previous post) and is an exceptional surgeon. Ultimately, a good doctor is that because of his knowledge and capabilities in the field of medicine, not because he's a nice guy. Dr. K is an outstanding doctor AND a nice guy.

I'm really surprised to see some negative comments about Dr. Konsker. I have been to probably 10 OB-GYNs over the years and by far, Dr. Konsker is the *best*! He got me through a risky pregnancy and delivered my healthy baby girl. He is extremely cautious, knowledgable, but also has a casualness about him that I find comforting. And when I've needed a prescription refilled, he doesn't make me always come in for a visit. He will just call it in over the phone, which is extremely convenient. But if I do need to come in for a bladder infection or other "painful womanly problem", he gets me in right away. Dr. Konsker was recommended to me by my girlfriend and I recommend him to anyone I meet!

I went in to see Dr. Konsker for some lower abdominal pain I have been experiencing for over a month. This doctor was rude, arrogant, and had no bedside manner. He expressed no concern for my health or my comfort. After entering the examination room without knocking and while I was in the middle of undressing, he actually asked me why I looked so nervous. He was extremely rough during the examination. I will never go back to this doctor and will warn every woman I know to stay away from him.

Although Dr. Konsker may be one of the brightest doctors around I've often thought that he makes inappropriate remarks in the form of "compliments." I usually ignore them, but after reading other reviews here I feel it's time for a new gynocologist. While I do believe Dr. Konsker is up on the latest info, and has always answered my questions intelligently, I'm always a little uncomfortable with him.

Dr. Konsker was extremely nice the first couple of visits but then his true self was revealed. As far as I know, there is nothing wrong about his knowledge of medecin, but he needs to work on his personal skills. If you don't like people - you should not work with people. He was rude, stressed, and got annoyed when asked perfectly simple questions. I always left his office feeling horrible and switched doctors as soon as I could (I was at the end of my pregnancy when I started seeing him and unfortunately didn't change doctors before my baby was born. In hindsight, I wish I had, even though I was 35 weeks pregnant).

Dr. Konsker is a very good doctor, he has alot of women to take care of and does a good job at it. He is thorough in answering all questions, otherwise, he does his thing. HE IS HUMAN and the best OBGYN I have ever been to!

I went to him for a second opinion on fibroid embolization. He told me I could have cancer, because he thought my fibroids were growing too quickly. However, his manner towards me was condescending and unfriendly and it embarrassed me in front of my mother, whom he asked to accompany me to my second appointment. There must be a better, calmer way to suggest to a woman that she should have a hysterectomy. I believe that he speaks in this manner because he cares about people's health more than emotions, but he needs to tone it down. If I wasn't so taken aback by his manner, I might have made a follow-up appointment. As it was, I switched to another doctor.

Dr konsker has been my OB/GYN for some time now, his office staff (Paslyn) is Great! I went to dr konsker after trying to get pregnant for over a year, i asked him about what i should do and if i needed fertility testing. he told me that maybe i had enough children and it wasn't time for me to have anymore and that's why i wasn't pregnant yet. I was so pissed off with that comment. i have currently switched my OBGYN to someone else whom is trying to help me.

I rated him terrible for these reasons; He made me feel very uncomfortable with what he said to me during the exam. The nursing staff is extremely rude. There is no follow up with patients . He rushes you in and out and if you try to ask any questions he will answer you in terms which you cannot understand .If you ask him to explain, he becomes frustrated with you. AND worst of all - I GOT CHARGED FOR A SERVICE THAT WAS NOT PERFORMED. IT TOOK 7 MONTHS TO GET THIS resolved. With that said, I'm switching to a new doctor.

Recently wrote in on Dr. Konsker and wanted to make an additional note. I had a follow up visit and was once again very happy with his assistance. He is a very kind and knowledgeable doctor. He has a great disposition with his patients and does not make you feel like just another a number. He seems to genuinely care about his patients. I got in very quickly considering I was 10 minutes late. He is very punctual when it comes to your appointment time. (PS typo on last blog on punctuality - should have been a 5) So regarding overall in a doctor, Dr. Konsker is rated a 5 for the best.

I went to Dr. Konsker for the first time as a new patient. I was having problems regarding my pregnancy and called my original OB GYN and they couldn't take me this particular day (patient for 8 years). Called Dr. Konsker's office as a new patient and gave me an appt. to come in 30 minutes. I got there and was amazed how he took care of the problem gave me an ultrasound, did bloodwork and explained everything that was going on. He didn't waste any time! I am now a a happy new patient with Dr. Konsker. He is the best!!!!!

Best guy - No nonsense. Always answered my questions. Yes he is hurried, but so is every other Dr out there. He is a doll and tells it to you like it is. Shares personnal episodes and can relate. I had a bizarre infection during pregnancy and he explained it and put me at ease while he treated it immediately. Awesome when it came to helping me manage my delivery. Had both my sons using him - will miss him terribly b/c we switched insurances to Humana.

It took some time for me to get used to his "style." But overall, he's really nice. He just won't sit down and ask you questions, instead,YOU will have to take the initiative to ask him.I love the fact that he does ultra sound each time I come so I get to see the baby in my tummy. He seems very excited about babies!

He is awful!! He gives the appearance of being a super friendly caring DR. but he is a phony! Actually the worst doctor I have ever been to. He is "in love" with himself too. I have never met a person before him, who was so arrogant, egocentric and phony. Terrible bedside manner. He has his "own agenda" on your first visit. He doesn't really listen to you. You can tell he tells all of his patients the same thing..."oh..I will treat you like a princess". Blaghhhh. Also the staff was not very friendly at all.

Dr Konsker has the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced in a doctor. The first few visits of my pregnancy he was great, but then his true nature became clear. I switch ob's. My new ob, Dr Fliesher is wonderful. By the way.... Fliesher does a ultrasound, every visit, free of charge and might I add that he is in the same building as Konsker.

Always on time, very professional, and the nurses are great. Being without insurance, it is expensive but I would rather pay and be treated like a very important patient, then go to another Dr. that just doesn't care. I definetley recommend him.

Extremely rude service! From the moment you walk into the office you have to wait forever, the front desk girls give nasty looks and are not professional at all! Once your in with him he totally rushes you. He doesn't listen to what you have to say at all!! I've asked questions and the response is always mediocre. I had an appointment I had to cancel, then the one I made after I had to cancel again because I have a busy life like most people do and as a result they DISCHARGED me! They obviously believe the world revolves around them and Dr. K. I do not recommend him at all! Don't be fooled because I was!

He is an overall great Dr, the only thing I can say negative was I did not get my yearly pap on time and was actually a couple months past the time and that seemed to upset him and the pap was very painful, I felt he Intentionally made it painfull, I had never had pain with him previously and I had been going to him for over 5 years.

At first Dr. K. seems to be a very caring doctor, but look out if you have any questions. He will just expect you to already know the answer and talk to you like you are stupid for not knowing. If I was not this far long in my pregnany I would switch. I will not be using him after I deliver my baby.
