Dr Dirbas is very knowledgeable and caring . He was very clear in explaining the risks and rewards of each possible treatment I might choose.He did a very hard case of lumpectomy on my breast since it was very difficult to get clear margins. He did a great job and saved my breast.

Dr Dirbas is the most professional, knowledgeable surgeon I've ever met. I am sure that my cancer was "run of the mill" but he treated me like I was the most important patient he'd ever seen. I wouldn't want to inflate his ego..but really all MD's pale in comparison!

8/4/11 | 5 | 4 | 5 | 5 | The surgery this doctor performed was exactly what I asked for. There were no surprises in the end; no short-cuts or complications after the operation. He is professional, but with a pleasant slightly humorous bedside manner. Dr. Dirbas was attentive to my comfort during office visits as well as post-operative; he provideds warm fuzzy blankets for patients in exam rooms! He actually said "...if you're not happy, I'm not happy." Well, I have to tell you, I am exceedingly happy with the results of my surgery that Dr. Dirbas 'fixed' to make me feel normal again! He is a genius with a purpose...and he seems driven to excellence. Staff and support people at the clinic are also friendly and efficient. What else can I say... except my decisions were respected and my reasoning and input were accepted as valid by Dr. Dirbas's team. Bravo! | Respond |

Having many years of experience working with physicians, some are good and a few are exceptional- Frederick M. Dirbas,M.D. is exceptional. One of the most well- rounded surgeons I have had the pleasure of working with. He works with the patient, respecting the patient, does not rush, takes all the time it takes to assist them in understanding their condition, available procedures and outcomes, all with great empathy. The most professional of professionals.

He performed my bilateral mastectomy, he did a great job and I had no complications. He worked together with my reconstructive surgeon so I had the best possible outcome.

Dr. Dirbas listened and responded to my questions, without seemed to be rushed; every question I asked was treated as important. During my time with Dr. Dirbas I felt that he was focused on me and my treatments.

I found scheduling to be very difficult. Although I continued my care in the hope of improvement. My return to work from my medical leave was not manged well and I found this doctor to lack consideration and thoughtfulness in this regard. I have not done my follow up care with Dr. Dirbas due to his lack of compassion as well schedule issues which were ongoing. I see another doctor for my follow up.
