11/16/12 4 4 1 1 I got up and left, very poor bedside manner, did not even discuss root of my problem, just dismissed me as if I was a piece of crap. He is very arrogant and rude, and takes no time to discuss any alternatives to help me with my problem. He is in middle of a horse field, and lacks compassion and respect which any human being deserves!  Respond

10/30/12 1 1 1 1 HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!! The Dr. was decent I suppose, he smiled and said hello when I entered, but the office staff was very rude. As I approached the receptionist, I got the distinct impression that I was interrupting a very important text message because she without looking up from her cell phone pushed a clipboard at me and quite rudely said "Sign in." After waiting a solid 45 minutes without any acknowledgement, I left. OVER a year later, I received a bill from them stating that I owed them $10 for missing my appointment. When I called on multiple occassions to contest this fee, I was told several times that someone would get back to me, but to this day, no one has. However, I still receive the same bill for $10 which I refuse to pay. Avoid this business at all costs!  Respond

5/30/12 2 1 1 2 When my Husband who has a different insurance than I do was assured by Dr. LoFaso's staff that they accepted his insurance, took his co-pay (twice) and then was told by his billing department (who is off site) oops we don't take it you owe us hundreds of $$$)had a balance on his account he refused to refil my prescriptions. What kind of a doctor holds a patient's prescriptions hostage for money on a different patient's account. I had no balance, didn't even owe a co-pay. Then when we did not pay his $100 concierge fee ... he dropped us ... all while I was actively being treated for specific conditions ... what physician does that ?? I agree with a prior post: Emotionally erratic, fires patients who question any aspect of billing issues. Tells them they have 30 days to find another doctor. HE CHARGES $100 A YEAR TO BE HIS PATIENT, as if he is a CONCIERGE PHYSICIAN. Make your own decisions, but just be aware of what you are getting into.

3/6/11 4 4 5 5 Reading the reviews, some are just plain wrong. Dr. Lafaso charges 100.00 to part of his practice. By doing this he almost always see's you within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment. He is never in hurry to get you out to see the next patient. He takes his time. He is very knowledgeable and has seen problems in drug interactions BEFORE the so called specialists. I have yet in 2 years seen him make a wrong diagnostic. I like his direct approach and he tells you the issue Straight. If you call his service after hours and on the weekends, he calls you back. Answers your questions and treats you like a person and friend, not many Doctors do that.

11/27/10 5 5 5 5 Dr. Lofaso sees through the drug seeking behaviors of the emotionally needy south Floridian whiners. He tells it as he sees it. Poor little retirees waiting for their next all you can eat buffet to open will not find sympathy with Dr.L. As for the comments against Angelica, they seem to be racially motivated by the same types who want to be coddled every step of the way. The man knows his facts. If you do not like "what you see is what you get" then go elsewhere. If you can deal with reality rather than having your own inner story reinforced, he's your doctor. He's mine and will remain so.

9/29/10 1 1 1 1 Front desk person very rude and ignored me while I was standing at the window while she was on a personal call. She looked at me and did not even acknowledge me. So I went to sit down. She finished call and finally she acknowledged me later after I sat down. Previously refused to tell dr my husband wanted to talk to him and she refused to tell him to call. He was going to tell him about her rudeness and being unprofessional and un friendly. We will go to another dr and never go back. No one should be treated like this. Husband likes doctor (good and nice) but have to deal with front desk person. I am sure doctor has lost other patients if she treats them like she did us. Dr also want an additional $100 to keep as doctor. Not worth it with her. Not good customer service even with out that fee.

8/7/10 1 1 1 1 I am very upset with Dr. Lofaso and his staff. I have had several visits and on every visit he had a very arrogant attitude. I switched jobs and insurance companies at the first of the year and called in to cancel a check up I had scheduled. I received a no-show fee of $35. I disputed this to the office and was told to call the billing office. After 6 months of going back and forth I received a letter from a collections agency on this $35. I called to talk to Dr. Lofaso and was told he would not speak on the phone and I would need to send him a letter. It's not about the money it is more about the principle. It seems to be more of a scam than anything. The thing that gets me the most as that there is nothing I can do. Run far away from this doctor. I can only imagine if I really had an issue what I would have went through.

Angelica makes tons of mistakes and does not return calls....Dr will not speak to you on phone......Recently had to tell him to @#$%^&*()!@# off and find another physician with a real staff.

7/10/09 4 5 5 5 Dr LoFaso is fantastic, he is extremely knowledgable, caring and his patient interaction is the best. His down to earth approach actually creates a very relaxing and open atmosphere. My husband has been seeing him for approx 4 yrs. We had been looking for a new physician for several years and we knew immediately Dr LoFaso was the perefect match for what we were looking for. A doctor who, listens, talks to you not down at you and has a sense of humor. I've been seeing him for 3.5. My daughter, who HATES doctors..actually loves him. His nurse Deborah is very nice, to know her is to love her...can be a little rough around the edges. Angelica is at the front desk, you reallyneed to give that young lady some slack. She's the one who gets most of the calls, needs to set and confirm appointments, field calls and greet all patients and visitors. She's also responsible th collecting payments. In reality she has the roughest job in the office, no where to hide.

9/5/08 1 5 4 5 Dr. Lofaso is great, very knowledgeable, kind, and when he speaks to you about your health, you know he cares. HOWEVER...... his office staff is HORRIBLE!!! The woman who answers the phones, and makes the appointments is extremely rude, and unprofessional. If the doctor was nothing but top notch, I would not return to the rude office staff!!

8/30/08 1 2 1 4 I requested the refill of a perscription which I had previously requested 2 weeks prior. I suffer from severe migranes. For thirty years a number of various doctors I have consulted all recommended this medication as I have no side effects and am able to tolerate it. It is the only thing they are able to give me which relieves the severe pain & nausea . When it was not renewed I called the office I was told I would have to come in but had to wait for three weeks for an appointment before I would be given a perscription. I asked what I should take in the meantime if I get a migrane. I was told I would have to go to an emergency room. I was also told it was Friday afternoon before a long weekend and they did not have time to help me. From April to the end of April I had only used one 15 pill perscription so there was no indication I was being irresponsible in its use.The staff was quite disrespectful and rude.

7/23/08 5 4 5 5 What a pleasant experience! Dr. Lofaso talks to you as a person, not a patient, and makes you feel very comfortable in his care. He actually listens to what you say, and will remember the conversation the next time you see him. I would wholeheartedly recommend him (and his staff) to anyone shopping for a GOOD doctor.
