Dr. El-Bayoumi is everything a patient could want in a medical professional. It's rare, as medicine has become more bureaucratized, to be under the care of a doctor who believes that there should be a relationship between the doctor and patient. Fortunately she imparts her approach to medicine to her residents. So it doesn't matter if your appt is with her or her resident, you are still under her care. To top it off, she is a great MD! There is no trade off between skill & style.

Dr. El-Bayoumi is one excellent Doctor. She is very knowledgeable and I believe being a doctor is her true calling. She is very sweet and takes a sincere interest in your healthcare. The residents that worked under her are very fortunate to have such a wonderful and experienced mentor. I would highly recommend her. Difficult to get appt with her because she is in very high demand.

Dr. Jehan El-Bayoumi, Gigi, is, by all means, the best. I am priviledged to have her as my physician since the mid 80s. Her attention, concerns, compassion, I do not call these services, all is what every patient wish to have in a physician.. What I received at my 1st visit to her office, mid-80s, is no more, no less than my last one in 2007. Gigi, thank you for being yourself.. In 2001 I had the occasion to be treated by Dr. Jehan (GiGi)El-Bayoumi due to the absence of my PCP. I was very very impressed by her attentiveness, and thoroughness. I never felt rushed nor had the feeling that I was not being listened to. Not only did she answer many of my questions regarding my primary medical concern, she also provided me with medical information, and made recommendations that would help me regarding some of my other medical issues. In 2002, I became dissatisfied with the services I was receiving and began searching for another PCP. I remembered the service I received from Dr. El-Bayoumi, and subsequently selected her as my PCP. I have NEVER had one moment of regret. Over the years I met persons who are also patients of hers and found that they too share my same opinion, that she is an excellent doctor. I can truly say I am blessed to have her as my PCP. I would like to mentioned that that same year she convinced me to stop smoking. Deborath Battle
