What I liked about him initially--accessibiltiy, openness, knowledge--became increasingly problematic as he grew older and became defensive when asked questions, as if he was being attacked. BUT he did very well with actual medical procedures. He occasionally dispensed incorrect information and became clearly annoyed when corrected. He also began to rely more and more on his staff to take over dealing with patients.
