I have had many appointments with Dr. Rabinowitz. He has been on-time for almost all of them. He is a nice man who seems as interested in what is going on in my family and work life as he was with the physical measurements he is taking. He has a no-nonsense attitude about medical information and where it comes from. You would be wise to avoid discussing how much you learned on some blog or other internet site of obviously questionable accuracy. On the other hand, if you actually do serious research on your symptoms/illness he seems enthusiastic about discussing your ideas with you. Also, if he prescribes treatment X and you think treatment Y would be worth trying first, he's usually quite amenable. Overall, Dr. Rabinowitz is a good doctor for patients who want to actively participate in a serious way in their own care. He would also be good for passive patients. Maybe not that good for patients who already know what's wrong with them because of internet "research."

Dr Rabinowitz is a very angry man. He acted condescending the 3 times I went there, until I got some better suggestions from people around the area. Doctor friends said he's not very good. He once trained in cardiology but never became a real one. When you go to see him it's like stepping into a 3rd world doctor's office, or something from the 1970s

Dr. Rabinowitz is one of the best doctors I have ever visited. He is very knowledgeable in many areas and is quite patient and caring. I would recommend him to anyone as both a cardiologist and PCP. I can guarantee that you'll never get better care anywhere else.

Dr Rabinowitz is a very thorough professional and has the ability to perform a variety of tests in house. However, he is very judgemental and at times his comments can be very personal and debasing. His one-step solution to cardiac problems of "lose weight" is not always practical. He is also my PCP but he has never performed a physical examination in over 7 years of seeing him. Because he is changing to a concierge system, I will change PCPs and utilize him only for his specialty.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rabinowitz for over 15 years. He is not the most punctual, BUT it is because he spends quite a bit of time with each patient. He is my PCP and cardiologist and I wouldn't think of changing doctors. He has been very thorough with my care.

Dr. Rabinowitz is the best cardiologist in Massachusetts, period. His innovative approach to cardiac health is refreshing, and I feel better than I have felt in years!
