He was called in on his day off and worked on her in the Trauma room for 3 hours to stabilize her before placing her in BC Children's ICU. He is amazing and our family will never forget what he did to save her! We are eternally grateful to him!! Today she's fine and looks amazing!! 5/16/10 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Dr. Metzger is EXTREMELY punctual answering emails directly to patients' parents and super friendly and warm and the best bedside manner I've ever seen in a doctor. He has helped us make important decisions about bone strengthening medications for our daughter. One year he wasn't there and we were very sad. He battled his own bout of cancer and when he came back we were all so happy to see him. There truly is no doctor more loving than Dr. Metzger. We're glad to know you, Dr. Metzger!!! | Respond |

He's ana amazing person and he really gets to know each kid, he's the best doctor I've ever had. He's interested in everything about my daughter & she feels special going to see him. He really listens & even discovered that something previously thought by the medical community to be non-genetic has turned out to be genetic thanks to him probing our families' histories & literally making medical history which got published. This was only because he listened to us & took the time to seek out more information & get to the bottom of things. He's amazing! I highly recommend him! | Respond |
