8/28/12 | 1 | 4 | 5 | 5 | Very good Dr. Spends time to try to get to know the patient and likes to have family involved so that they can ask questions and understand the condition of his patient. He is so good that he now has far too many patients!! Would rather the patient not rely on drugs if they are not necessary, but on the other hand when a patient really needs pills for anxiety and depression, he tends to hold back and the patient suffers longer as they really need something to control the anxiety and rampant thought process. But overall, he's a very good professional! | Respond |

7/24/11 | 2 | 4 | 5 | 5 | very good Dr. He is compassionate and not a pill pusher. Would rather the patient have family and community support and use pills to help the patient "get over the hump." Agree that the some staff are project the attitude of not really caring and just give lip service and collect a pay check! so sad for the patients. | Respond |

6/3/11 | 1 | 3 | 4 | 4 | I agree that Doctor Adewumi seems like a very caring professional. On the other hand I also agree with the other comment on this site that "The Staff have a few nasty nurses who would rather collect pay checks than to have to deal with the mentally ill". It is "shocking" that they would be employed by the hospital in this unit. | Respond |

4/6/11 | 4 | 3 | 5 | 5 | Very helpful. Wanted to meet family to understand patient more fully. Takes time for family members to voice concerns. Sometimes he's not on time, but no one minds as we know he is spending time with someone who needs him. He is not always looking at his watch, but GENTLY, tells patient he must move on in such a way that all are o.k. with the end of the appointment. A very caring Dr. Not a pill pusher. Would rather person get involved with doing things that interest them. Recommends a councilor to keep person on track rather than having them depend on pills. The staff have a few nasty nurses who would rather collect pay checks than to have to deal with the mentally ill, but for the most part, they are good. | Respond |

2/6/11 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | As stated by other patients, this doctor is wonderful! He made me feel instantly at ease, although I am normally distrustful and hostile to mental health practitioners. I had a bad experience with an antidepressant, and he did not push me to further medicate. He was eager to know my thoughts on my condition, what sort of therapies I felt would be most beneficial, and which I would actually adhere to. He is very knowledgeable of stressors that affect other health care practitioners, and was cautious in his assessment so as not to ruin my future career. | Respond |
