25/10/13 4 4 5 5 Vince Bain cared for my Hepatitis C and got me a cure. The cure is a bit luck of the draw so not all Dr Bain's credit. But Dr Bain is a wonderful person who treats people with a ton of respect. Takes the time to explain. Answers all your questions. Seems to know a ton but doesn't come across as someone who thinks they have every answer. Very highly recommended  Respond

01/12/10 5 5 5 5 I had a liver transplant in 2006 and it was Dr Bain who diagnosed my liver cancer and led my wife and I through the entire process. He is also responsible for eventually curing me of hepatitis c and is still to this day involved in my overall continued health. Truly a kind and knowlegable person and the best doctor I have ever encountered.  Respond

20/09/10 5 5 5 5 Dr. Bain is the first specialist I have been to that really listens, and checks into things, and also returns phone calls. He did a colonoscopyfor me, and that was the easiest medical procedure i have ever had done. I was well sedated, do not remember a thing, woke up in recovery, and it was like nothing really happened. He also let me do a different prep. I didn't have to drink the 4 litres of crap, you usually have to. I used pico salax, and drank gatorade. It was very good. He also list3ens to you and is very understanding, and not condescending. Great Doctor.  Respond

14/06/10 3 4 5 5 I first saw Dr.Bain when I was 20 yrs old (i'm 36 now) for a serious liver problem which confounded my GP despite all the tests he ran. My GP sent me to Dr.Bain, who immediately did a biopsy & diagnosed my condition (which is rare for my age). He was thorough, very kind, and I loved going to see him. After being on medication for 7-8 yrs & being followed by Dr. Bain, I went into remission. If my condition ever returns, I have stated clearly that I only want to see Dr. Bain.  Respond

09/02/10 5 5 5 5 Dr. Bain saved my life!! I have been his patient for several years, as I had a fatal liver disease. Because of HIM, I was involved in a clinical trial that kept me well enough to receive a liver transplant. He was the Dr. that pushed to have me transplanted, and was there for me during ALL of my various set backs while I waited. He is an absolute fabulous Dr, and a very kind and gentle man. I would recommend him to everyone, and I agree with others here what a fine Doc he is!!  Respond

Dr. bain has reffered me to a great Dr (Kneteman, also wonderful) Dr. Bain is VERY good at his job, and obviously enjoys it. 12/08/08 5 5 5 5 I have been seen by Dr. Bain over the last 10 years for Hep C. I have had 2 biospys, both performed by Dr. Bain. He is wonderful, great sense of humor and I feel very fortunate to be in his care. I have recommended him to others that have Hep C. He returns calls, and is able to help make sense of the hep C. His support person Vi is wonderful as well.  Respond

29/07/08 5 5 5 5 I am extremely grateful that Dr. Bain was able to take me on very short notice and perform a basically a painless ERCP, the pain I was going through due to pancreatitis disappeared in a very short time and now I am rebuilding my life.  Respond

20/01/08 5 5 5 5 Dr. Bain is wonderful. I am not ill at this point with Hep. C, but I have had two biospys - both times performed by Dr. Bain. And although painful and scary procedures his wonderful sense of humor and caring, aided in making the procedure much less traumatic. I would not want to be cared for by another other doctor as I deal with this disease. His medical receptionist Vi is wonderful also.  Respond

13/11/07 4 4 5 5 Finally a doctor that looks into things!!! This doctor is very persistant to finding out what is wrong. He was the first doctor that took specific interest in elevated liver enzymes that the GP didn't care about. The GP felt because of young age things like elevated enzymes were normal, but not doctor Bain. He took the time to give reassurance and performed a number of tests to find out what was going on. He also fit us into his schedule and returned calls promptly. I am a nurse and would work by Dr.Bain's side any day.  Respond

24/08/07 4 4 5 5 Dr. Bain is wonderful. He not only diagnosed a problem that I have with my liver, but also diagnosed me with Hemochromotois. Thanks to him and his wonderful nutrianist, my health is improving as is my quality of life, even if I have to go in every two weeks right now to have a plebotomy to remove the high iron levels from my blood. Thanks Doc. You really helped me out, and my wife and kids are greatful that Daddy will not die.  Respond
