Very good no-nonsense doctor. I appreciated his honesty and considerate consulting. Not the doctor you want if you are just after pills, but very accomodating in terms of appointments. There is a strong possibility that you won't have to wait more than a few hours due to the nature of the practice. The practice nurse is very friendly and approachable, runs an excellent weight management clinic. In my view Dr. Doherty has a particular strength in understanding a lot of the psychiatric issues that are so prevalent in NI at the moment, especially Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and various anxiety disorders. I've also had treatment from him for various men's issues, all of which have been dealt with easily and without embarrasment. Overall, a friendly practice with a relaxed appointment system and a doctor who appears to have a lot of regard for his patients.
