Very helpful to my wife who had been all but abandoned by the blinkered local medical personnel. Dr. Schaller was willing to drive 3 hours to see my wife in a house call not once but twice because she was too ill to travel.

3/20/13 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Dr. Schaller knows his stuff. I was being treated at the VA medical Center in Miami if you want to call it that. The doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with me so they just chalked it up to stress. My symptoms were getting worse: confusion, depersonalization, memory loss, headaches, dizziness..... I was referred to Dr. Schaller and he was like a breath of fresh air. He immediately knew what I was suffering from and we started the treatment. He is very caring, knowledgeable, and the only doctor I know that will call you within 5 minutes of you emailing him. He is very passionate about his work and it shows in every aspect of this treatment, I'm so grateful I found him!!! | Respond |

He explains everything to you and ensures you understand your diagnosis and treatment options. I have been to many doctors seeking out what could be wrong with me and Dr. Schaller took the time and diagnostic testing and wouldn't quit till he found you an answer. For over 24 years I had suffered from a "mystery" illness, and even though I had seen and spent a countless amount of money, over 13 specialists and my family doctor told me I would need to quit work, my health was continuing to decline. Then I found Dr. Schaller (or Dr. House/with the nice personality as I like to call him). He was the only doctor willing to take the time to really listen to me and do all the tests necessary to diagnose my problem. He is such a caring, compassionate and INCREDIBLY SMART - amazing doctor. . I am now back at work 100% and would not EVER hesitate to call or go see Dr. Schaller again. I will always use and trust Dr. J for my families care. What he has done for me and my family is priceless! I can't imagine ever going back to how I use to feel. It is because of his insight, knowledge, and through understanding of what blood tests mean, that I was able to be properly diagnosed and treated. All the other "Doctors" just through prescritions at me. Dr. Schaller was tenacious in his effort to find the root causes of my myriad of symtoms and get me healthy again. After seeing numerous physicians over a period of 20 years, I learned of and consulted Dr. Schaller because of his reknown and expertise in an area that I had started suspecting was the root cause of my condition. A personal consult by phone gave me the reassurance I needed that it was worth traveling from Canada to the U.S. to visit with him. After reviewing my multitude of existing lab test results Dr. Schaller recommended additional tests that had never been done before to help round out the picture of what was going on. His knowledge, thoroughness and evidence-based treatment recommendations thus far have not only given me marked improvement after only one month, but they've given me HOPE for a full recovery for the first time. I've suffered from chronic fatigue for many years until I was diagnosed with Lyme disease 2 yrs. ago. I've treated Lyme but only started to feel a little improvement. I contacted Dr. Schaller and he found that I have Babesia and Bartonnela through indirect testing! I am following his treatment protocols and I already see the difference. Dr. Schaller has been extremely generous with his time and very sensitive to my concerns. Dr Schaller is highly intelligent and caring. He is a top rated Lyme specialist who has published numerous books on Lyme disease and co infections. He offers specialized one on one consults and provides high quality care. Dr Schaller is highly respected by his peers and doctors in the Lyme community. If you are suffering from Lyme and co infections Dr Schaller is your man. Dr Schaller has changed my life over the last six months from bed ridden to living an active life.

I started feeling better within days. I was able to begin law school after about three months of treatment. He takes as much time as necessary to diagnose your symptoms and will not stop until he has found an answer. I am living proof. He literally saved my life when other MD's left me hopeless. If you have medical issues that no one has the answers for, he is the man to see. You will definitely be treated with respect and compassion. So we started going outside the box and found Dr Schaller who saw us IMMEDIATELY without even knowing my medical history background. He has been treating me for about 7 months now and there is a BIG improvement. I went from not living at all & having no life to living again. Spent a fortune and they did not treat the co-infections or properly test for them. Also knew nothing about MSH and HLA or how important these tests are along with a whole host of others. My children might be dead were it not for this doctor. Instead they are healthy, functional and doing well in school. He sat down with me for 3 hrs, and knew what was wrong with me(with blood work) Also with such compassion he believed it was worth checking my wife to find out if I gave her my disease (during my exam he went over my body with a marker identifying indicators). He has dedicated his life mission where so many other so called doctors fall so very short not giving you any time or consideration he will respond to your needs any time of day/night. After 18 yrs I found DR Schaller- if I did not find him I would be dead. I'm a father of two and a husband of 25 yrs. My wife and I both owe him more than words can describe. But I will say this, the rest of the medical world should learn from him-his compassion & caring. He is out for your well being no matter how much time it takes not the normal 10 min & out the door.
