:) Click to report rating    10/27/09 3 4 5 5  Dr. Abell was a godsend for me. He clearly understood the severity of my Stage 3B breast cancer and took plenty of time to explain my options. He had so much knowledge about my inflammatory breast cancer and was so kind and patient with me that I felt confident that I had made the right choices and had the best possible surgeon to deal with my problem. I had difficult to remove lymph nodes and a bilateral mastectomy. Throughout this process, Dr. Abell worked with my other doctors to smooth the way to a successful result. I am still in complete remission 5 years later, and will always be grateful to Dr. Abell for his kindness and skill. I highly recommend him to anyone dealing with breast cancer.

:( Click to report rating    3/3/09 3 3 1 2  I was a patient of Dr Abell for nearly a year. He removed a cyst, but did not remove it all causing severe pain and abscesses to form. He never thought that he did anything wrong or that he didn't remove the full cyst. His solution was to give me more antibiotics which did nothing to stop the continual infections and underlying cause. Luckily, I wised up and went to another doctor for a second opinion and had the cyst fully removed. Dr. Abell treated me nicely, but refused to truly listen to my complaints and concerns and to get to the bottom of my problem.
