Dr. works at the United Family Practice Clinic located on W. 7th St. Went there for medicine for an ongoing severe headache. Upon telling her all the pain medicines I'm highly allergic to, which would've landed me in the Emergency Room, here's what she prescribed: Piroxicam. Piroxicam is an 'NSaid'. I cannot take ANY NSsaids, OTC, no matter what class they fall in to. This Dr. refused to prescribe what I've taken in the past for severe headaches and INSISTED I WOULD BE FINE. WRONG! Not only did I have an allergic reaction after one dose; paying 25.00 for it). I put in a call to her & asked "What else can you recommend, how bout Tylenol #3", she said, she doesn't prescribe anything like that. Her egotistical attitude continued, "Is there anything else I can help you with tonight?". She shut me down. Found out later, she was being 'overseen' by the REAL clinic Dr., to 'OK' what SHE recommended. Half my age & clearly INCOMPETENT;NEEDS to 'learn' what ACUTE PAIN LOOKS LIKE.
