:( Click to report rating    7/10/07 5 3 1 3  I had one bad experience with this doctor that caused me to leave the practice. I had gone to him with a painful shoulder. While describing the symptoms and where it hurt, I was simply told to "stop trying to diagnose it" and just explain the problem. I told him that there was pain in the posterior deltoid when I was told this. I had also lost over 50 pounds since my last visit and the nurse inadvertently put my previous weight down on the chart. While this isn't a big deal, Dr. Early told me I still needed to lose weight since I was 252 lbs. When I explained that I had lost weight and was now around 200 lbs, he said, "Let's make sure" as if I was lying. His scale read 198. I had recently been to the dentist (who I only see twice a year) and he complimented me on my weight loss. If my doctor can't tell that I've lost 50 lbs, I question his diagnostic abilities. On the way back to the exam room, he chewed out the nurse for putting the wrong number down (which was an honest mistake).
