Dr Kilmurry did my surgery which turned out to be more complicated than expected (his surgery did not fix the problem) and he referred me to someone else. While I appreciate the fact that he didn't want to do any permanent damage, it has been a long drawn out and frustrating experience (not all his fault). His secretary is pretty busy/rude to the point that I had to fight to get the follow up appointment as instructed on the post surgical instructions. When I started developing complications I did not even try calling his office because I was mostly made to feel that I was a nuisance and I didn't think my problems would not be properly addressed if I couldn't speak to the Dr directly so I went to a ER instead. In general, Dr Kilmurry is personable and seems to care very much about his patients. He took the time to explain the different surgeries that could result and was very mindful that even though my condition is not life threatening, my quality of life is poor until it is resolved.

Excellent. Really knows his stuff. Had a straightforward yet caring approach, clearly explained all options, sensitive to patient/family emotions/situation.

Dr. Kilmurry doctored my dad for esophagual cancer. He waisted no time in treating dad's cancer He suggested chemo, radiation then operating. Dad entered the hospital for surgery on Sept 24th 2011 the following day dad ran into complications unrelated to his cancer. Dr Kilmurry took my dad back into the operating room quickly realized the bowel problem proceeded to operate to correct problem. I can speak for my whole family we are very greatful for the care Dr. Kilmurry gave my dad. He has a vast amount of kmowledge, truly cares for his patients and what their family's are going through. I would recommend this kind doctor to anyone. My dad went back to work Jan 16th 2012. Thank you Dr. Kilmurry. The Lunn Family
