4/30/13 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 2 | All Rita cares about is money. No matter what you go to her for, she is going to find a reason to send you to have ultrasounds down or to have your urine tested. Every single appointment I had with her I ended up paying money out of my pocket. She always shows up to the office late and the shortest time I've ever waited in the office was one hour; usually it's 2-3 hours. When she comes to see you, she spends maybe 2 minutes in the room and does not do a thorough exam or ask questions. It's like you're going to a drive-thru doctor. With me, she was very cold and never made me feel welcome. With my second child I will make sure to go to a different OBGYN! I would not recommend her to anyone. Her office is disgustingly dirty. The chairs are all stained, none of the equipment is sterilized and bagged. This place should be shut down by the health department! | Respond |

10/19/11 | 3 | 1 | 1 | 1 | This doctor is as dreadful as everyone is saying, so ladies, listen to the warnings and find someone else as your doctor. I don't care how desperate you feel, you are not desperate enough to entrust your and your unborn child's health to her "care". In my case, she got very angry because I did not have an amniocentisis after my blood test came back with a very slightly elevated risk for Down's Syndrome. An amnio is a very invasive test, and my husband and I had decided that we did not want to take the risk. That was our choice. She implied that I would be a bad mother because I had not taken the test. This doctor is rude, mean, unprofessional and lacks basic knowledge and common sense. | Respond |

10/19/11 | 3 | 1 | 2 | 3 | Dr Friedman is money hungry lady. She lies and says that all tests have to be paid for because Jewish Hospital doesn't do the regular "medicare" tests anymore. It costs me $50 for your vaginal culture (cash!!) and over $200 for the other tests that she does. It's funny how she boldly lies about her tests being done at Jewish hospital when she sends you herself to drop off the cultures at CDL Labs. What a liar. She is friendly I must say and that is probably why I have stayed with her. Ask me if I would ever have her monitor my pregnancies...that is another story. Yes and one more thing, she wears these cheap gloves, the kinds that you get in the hair color kits, and checks you with them. She always scrapes me and I end up with a yeast infection because she irritated the inside of me. No recommended!! | Respond |

She had symptoms of ovarian cancer for almost 2 years and each time she would insist to Dr. Friedman, she would brush my mom off and say it was due to Menopause. She never screened her for anything. Of course, today my mom is no longer here but I worry how many other lives could be saved if they had the right screening. This Dr. should not be in practice. | Respond |

I agree with all these comments! I don`t know why she is still allowed to practice. Complaints should be done at "Le college des medecins", because she should not be allowed to steal money from her patients. Does she not make a big enough salary? I won`t even talk about her dirty office, rude secretary (who tries to pass as a nurse), and never ending wait. For my second child, I RAN to another doctor, who was night and day, and where I did not disburse one penny the entire pregnancy. PLEASE AVOID THIS DOCTOR!! Oh, she also never listens to the baby`s heart beat so don`t get your hopes up ladies!

Then she makes me bring the Pap test and the HPV test to her PRIVATE Laboratory,"CDL) next door and I pay another $210.00. How sick is that? It's supposed to be FREE ladies. Pap tests and all supposed to be free unless you thing there is a problem. I can't believe, $360 for a 5 min check up. HMM. Ladies keep your money, and don't go to her anymore. I sure won't. With all the money she makes let her invest in paper wrap around, not the same wrap cloth that is used on everybody. Disgusting. | Respond |

10/4/10 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | she is horrible i was preganant with my son and she wanted to make me go 42 weeks what is she crazy i was in so much pain my babay was to big for me to carry.so i went straight to the hospital only to find out that they had to give me a c section because my baby was face up and too big to pass threw me....she did not take the time to examen me the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy i had to threaten her and she transferd my file to another doc and he's te one that told me that my baby was never going to pass and that he was face up imagine she followed me all the way threw it just proves to you that she never really cared about my pregnancy. | Respond |

8/21/10 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 2 | I agree with all the above, your waiting time is over 2hrs, you wait in the examining room for about 10 to 15 mins. more and when she comes in, she spends about 3mins. with you, by the time you get up and want to ask a question, she's gone. By the way, is the cloth sheet you wrap around you ever washed? With the amount that we pay she should invest in paper wraps. I must say that she was very good in delivering my 2nd and 3rd child. As for her appointments - no good. I am looking for another gyno. one who takes the time and the effort in examining you and answering your questions. | Respond |

Rushes out while you're in the middle of what to you is a very important question. Told me my acute breast pain was normal and that it was just menopause coming on...I was 32 at the time. I would NEVER recommend anyone see her. Bessy should be a doctor though she is amazing and I would see her without a question. | Respond | |

She is never even available to answer any questions online or on the phone. You wait for like 2 hours in the waiting room and then when you finally get to see her she rushes you and makes you feel nervous. | Respond |
