Great Doctor !! always helpful and listening to her patients
Dr.Chai is great! She's very knowledgeable about different health issues. I just didn't have the same experience with her staff. The nurse is nice but the front desk is rude and does not give you that welcoming feeling. My sister had an emergency and we called in because they use to take walk ins the front desk told us the doctor was busy without giving us details if we can come in and wait. We live near so we decided to stop by and the lot was empty. We walked in and the people at the front desk stared at us like we were crazy and I told her we have an emergency and the first thing they did was look at the clock and in a mean tone she said don't walk in like that. It was an hour before closing. She could have asked the doctor, but instead she pushed us away. I am very upset at this situation and is never coming back.
Dr. Chai is like a breath of fresh air. While other doctors make you wait and feel rushed, Dr. Chai saw me within 10 minutes of my arrival and really took her time with me. She listened to everything I had to say and asked a lot of questions. She is very kind and compassionate. You can tell that she really cares and is concerned about your health. I can't say enough nice things about her and her office. She is the best doctor that I've had the pleasure of seeing. What a wonderful doctor and a fantastic person!!! Thank you doctor Chai for restoring my faith in doctors and the medical profession in general!!! Would recommend her to any and everyone !!!!
I can't believe doctors like Dr. Chai actually exist in USA medical field. Almost all of other doctors I went to, they are always in a rush and barely want to have a few minutes to listen to you. Dr. Chai is very patient and extremely knowledgeable. she takes time to listen to you and gives you a care like you are her family. I totally trust her with my family's health care. I told my wife that one of best things happened to me after I moved from CA to GA is to find a truly caring doctor like Dr. Chai. I have never had an experience with doctors like I had with Dr. Chai. Highly recommended!
It's very rare you find a Dr. that is attentive and takes the time to listen and explain everything. When being seen by Dr. Chai you don't feel rushed. She takes the time you need to make sure you understand what she is telling you. I would recommend Dr Chai for any age group.
I discovered this office Nov/06 when I was very sick and called nearby docs on my ins plan. Dr. Chai's office said,"Can you come in now"? I was ecstatic and very well taken care of. It has been that way ever since, including this week when I have had to see her twice. Call at 8:00 a.m. and they ask you to come in immediately and you only have to wait about 15 mins. My husband sees her too and loves her for all the same reasons. We have a 12 year old son who needed a pre-sports physical. His pediatrician was booked for weeks. Guess what? Dr. Chai could see him that day!! He then developed a rash a monthy later and she saw him the same day (see the pattern of positiveness?). She speaks directly to him and has a son of her own. He loves her too. She calls personally during the day to go over lab results. Once I went to get a mammogram, forgot a referral letter--the hospital said I needed one--called Dr. Chai's office and within 15 minutes they had faxed the form. Thats service!
I agree that Dr Chai is very knowledgeable and compassionate. I also thought her nurse was very good. I only had to wait about 15 minutes to see her-which is also a big plus. She doesnt waste time or keep you waiting. However, I disagree that she doesnt do much lab work or perform exams. I think It probably depends on your insurance. If it is medicare, remember medicare doesnt pay for physical exams at all, and will only pay for a once a year health screen-which is very different from a complete physical. A health screening is where the Doctor just takes your health history and does selected tests based on what you tell her. That's probably what you had-not a complete physical. If you had private insurance she would have checked you from nose to toes. But you really can't blame a doctor for not wanting to do a lot of tests and examinations for which they cannot possibly be reimbursed by medicare. The cheap skates in congress are deliberately defunding medicare and hurting seniors.
Dr Chai is a pleasure to deal with. She is very warm and friendly with million dollar smile. She is young and energetic, and very intuitive. She can size up a medical condition very quickly, and she doesnt do unnecessary exams, procedures or tons lab work. Her nurse did draw some boold from me and I didnt even feel it.
