Dr. Buxton is bright and quick and willing to try new things to achieve good results with endocrine problems. He explains things very well and is caring and respectful of patients. he really made me feel at ease and confident in my treatment plan.
Great when he's with you. Really great. BUT, he takes days to return phone calls and thinks this is okay. His office staff lost labs, messages, insurance forms and crabbed about him for not returning phone calls. "Don't think you're the only one" one of them actually said to me. This is not what I paid him the big bucks for. I went somewhere else.
Great doctor, really sharp, knowledgeable and personable. A true expert in his field. But good luck getting a phone call returned. Sometimes had to wait a week, even calling every day, to get lab results even when feeling poorly. Talk to him? Sometimes maybe. Office staff is dysfunctional. Often send lab orders with wrong or non-existent diagnoses codes and personal information. Lose results and messages to the doctor.
Excellent Doctor and Mentor. I work with him personally and he never treats me like I am stupid when I ask questions. Very good with patients. We need to have more doctors like him around not ones who are just in it for the money. Eric, cares about the patients and the outcome, and not about the dollar figure. I highly recommend him to anyone who has a problem with their endocrine system. I am not saying that because I work with him but he is very good at what he does. He needs to be commended for all his hard work, caring and dedication. Well done Eric.
Excelent endocrinologist for thyroid disorders. Respectful, helpful, likes his patient's TSH to be at the bottom of the range and their FT3 at the top. Open to, but not happy about, Armour. All around an excelent doctor.
