28/03/14 5 3 1 2 Dr Iglar caused me over a year of mental break down. I was suffering from loss of breathe. I believed it was something to do with my lung he informed me that it was an anxiety disorder and sent me home with Zoloft. So I took it under his instructions. Ever 2 weeks he would see me and symptoms became worse. He instructed me to take more and that the medication takes time to kick in. Anyway 6 months later I was still expirencing panic attacks at a ridiculously high dose of Zoloft. I broke down crying in his office because the panic attacks were getting worse and all I was told was to take more Zoloft. Thank god he left the practice and the doctor that replaced him had my anxiety under control in a week. I feel sorry for the next generation of doctors who are studying under him, which will not know how to treat illnesses correctly. He poorly represents the university of Toronto and medical professionals that have attended u of t.

15/07/13 5 4 5 5 Dr. Karl Iglar is respectful, gentle, a good listener and always apologizes for keeping anyone waiting. He makes excellent and necessary referrals, acquaints himself with my history via the online system and offers thoughtful diagnostics supported by tests, follow-up appointments and on site examinations. He offers support for ailments of the body and the emotions by quick referral to counselling. He is a serious individual, extraordinarily busy, and slow to smile however I trust my health needs to him completely and have done so for over 10 years. I am over 60 and there is always something now going on with my body. There has been a dramatic improvement overall in the reception area, in the last few years. I find the reception staff, and the nursing staff, for both north and south departments to be courteous, helpful and friendly. True, it was not always that way, but this is a very busy practice site and one that needs a security guard on duty all day. There is a reason for that.

31/10/12 5 4 5 5 excellent treatment of my ear infection after a malignant mole near my right ear had been removed four week ago. With syringe using warm water he was able to release blood remaining in ear after operation and I immediately felt better. To be highly recommended.  Respond

06/01/09 3 2 3 3 It is very hard to find family doctor. So you tend to stay where you are used to. The problem with this Doctor's office are the receptionists. They are very rude and always miserable. Somebody please teach these people a good manners! They failed badly in that category. They have no idea what customer service is all about. If you don't like your job; Quit!  Respond

05/10/08 3 2 4 4 Dr. Iglar takes the time to consider any problems/issues you might be facing. He'll order any tests he feels are necessary so you're never left feeling like he just shrugged it off. He always provides options. He has been great as my kids' doctor from both their births - he is very knowledgeable and offers the right balance of compassion and confidence to a new mother. He has a good bedside manner and the right balance of humour. His practice [St. Mike's] is very busy and the wait can be long, but which practice isn't these days? I like him, and I am a fairly hard person to make feel comfortable.  Respond

19/03/08 5 5 1 1 If you are a woman patient with this doctor head for the hills. Very unhappy with his level of care to my mom. Wouldn't listen to her symptoms, said it was all in her head and after a year of being misdiagnosed, she ended up dying of cancer that was never discovered until the very end. Arrogant, abrupt attitude, and suspicious little mouse!  Respond

10/12/07 4 4 5 5 He was my doctor when he practiced in Mississauga. Very knowledgable, took the time to treat any ailments/conditions I was experiencing. Usually the wait was pretty long, but well worth it. Bottomline, he was nice, genuine and not full of it.  Respond
