31/01/14 5 5 5 5 I was sent by my GP to Dr. Zawadowski's practice to determine the nature of a suspected heart ailment. The Doctor and his staff undertook a comprehensive job of diagnosis. He then referred me for an angiogram, which determined I would likely require bypass surgery. Once I had that diagnosis, Dr. Zawadowski patiently and kindly explained to me all my options for treatment and surgery. Afterwards, the follow up and post-surgical testing and monitoring of my condition and medications by the Doctor and his staff has been remarkable, and reassuring. Along the way, Dr. Zawadowski has also provided me with valuable and detailed information on diet and lifestyle. A heart condition is serious and unnerving business; the very capable care of Dr. Zawadowski and his staff has helped me deal with the surgery, and implement changes in my lifestyle.  Respond

29/05/13 5 4 5 5 I've had 11 years of extra, active life, thanks to Dr Zawadowski. In 2002,by mistake,I arrived at his office a week before my appointment was due.He was just leaving the office but saw me anyway. After 2 minutes on the treadmill,he stopped the machine and arranged for me to come to his other location for further tests which revealed artery narrowing. He sent me for an angiogram which revealed 2 blockages of 90% and 95% in the main left artery.A week later I had an angioplasty and stent.Sice then I have had annual checkups with dr Zawadowski. He is extremely thorough, very friendly and gives plenty of his time. The time he gives to each patient may lead to a waiting time in his office but I always have a book with me wherever I go(a real book.I'm very old fashioned)The wait time is worth it.Thank you Dr.Zawakowski  Respond

25/01/13 5 5 5 5 Having experieced a chest pain, my family doctor Dr.Francine McCourt sent me to a cardiologist Dr. Andrew Zawadowski, who ran me through numerous heart tests and immediately directed me to the Emergency Ward of the Oakville Hospital (Halton Healthcare Pacemaker Clinic) where I received and was inserted a Pacemaker. After completed additional heart tests, Dr. Zawadowski directed me to the Trillium Hospital (Cardiac Short Stay Unit) where I underwent an angioplasty operation (Dr.Charles Lezzan). I must say that the medical staff who cared for me, as well as Drs. Andrew Zawadowski and Francine McCourt, showed their professionalism, experience and service to a patient senior, who experienced other recent ailments (diabetes, cataract both eyes, etc.)and was forced to reside under a totalitarian regime for many years, before returning to Canada and the wonderful public health care system we Canadians have. Thanks to all involved in keeping me healthy, especially to the doctors. George Moskal

15/04/09 5 1 4 5 Well, he's always late, really late, even for the first appointment of the day. But to compensate for this, he is a brilliant doctor so consider yourself in good hands. Just bring a book to read and don't yell at the secretary.  Respond

18/02/09 5 5 5 5 I have met Dr. Zawadawski only once for consultation more than 10 years ago. I have atrial fibrillation and hypertension for many years. He prescribed me medications which I am still using all these years. I have tried other medications but am always returning to his. I am very thankful for that. He is an exellent cardiologist, caring, knowledgable, smart. I wish there would be more doctors like him. Unfortunatelly I live to far from Oakville:((( God bless him.  Respond
