Person below is crazy. No one says this about Dr. Scott-Douglas EVER. He is one of the best in his field and highly attentive and respective of patients time and provides ample follow up based on patient needs. This is an inaccurate rating and this person needs to give their head a shake.

I was with dr Scott/Douglass for over 30 years. He was the only doctor that I can trust and relate to when it came to my kidney disease. My everyday doctors had no clue. Dr. Scott-douglass was always truthful, knowledgeable and caring in the most professional way. I received a kidney transplant on June 23, and now have to leave him, asapatient as I go to a post transplant nephrologist. I will definitely miss this wonderful man. He is a leader in his field. I have been blessed to have him as my sons neuphrologist so I will be seeing him as we go through my sons process leading up to his kidney transplant. Thank you wth my life and new kidney dr Nairn Scott-Douglass.

I transferred into Dr. Scott‐Douglass' care from the wonderful team at the children's hospital when I turned 18. His staff and personal style of Medicare have been very impactful on my life. I went from having a disease that ruled over my life hindering my teen years, to a very manageable condition that I almost forget I have some days. The knowledge shared and the routines they've helped me build are priceless in value.

He has taken care of our mother for over 20 years and we love him and appreciate him so much!

I have seen Dr. Scott-Douglas for over 20 years. He is such a great doctor. He is an active listener, is thorough and will go out of his way to help you. He will do whatever is necessary to help solve your health concern. He has always been kind and respectful to me.

Have tried to leave a comment after reading a story in the Herald - don't think that I entered it correctly and so am offering my thoughts in this forum. Dr S.-D. gave my husband 10 extra happy and productive years of life. Husband presented with 25-30% kidney function. The Doc nailed the diagnosis at the first visit. He tested, treated and followed-up, was patient and explained and was interested in us - we had great personal conversations. And what fun to bump into him in a restaurant in Canmore! His nurse, Kin(?) was wonderful. His dietician is another story!

Extremely thorough and takes the time to explain all your test results and answer all of your questions. Never rushes you and is very patient. Very apparent that he enjoys his job and providing the best care to his patients.

Awesome Doctor. I never feel rushed and he makes sure all my questions are ticked off answered by the end of my visit!

Work with him on a hospital unit. Very well liked. Knowledge is great. And he is one of the very few that say "Thank You".
