After visiting Dr. Matan yamini, my husband and I left our first appointment, knowing we would not return. He is a smart man but he is very pushy towards doing test, test and more test. We had plenty of the same testing done previously at another clinic but he would not take it into consideration. Maybe that's the way they do things there, but seemed a bit of a money grab. Our questions seemed rushed and to find a very distant answer. We felt no spiritual connection nor comfort.

Dr. Yemini is an intelligent and knowledgeable dr. He made me feel that my situation was personal to him. I was not just a number with him. The staff in the office were always late opening. My nurse only worked twice a week so I only spoke with her once. Rochelle the financial woman was always quick and rushing me through conversations. The worst part of the entire experience was the lab woman. I asked her to send my labs to Quest and she did not so I received multiple bills for labs. Before I began any major treatment I left and took my insurance to IRMS. Diamond is hands down the worst. Some one should tell the Docs that you are only as good as the team you have.

Had an HSG and sono done here. The HSG was awful!was told that my tubes looked ok and normal small follicles on ovaries. Was told shape of my uterus would prevent pregnancy. The second doctor at the same practice said your tubes are blocked, you have cystic ovaries, I don't think you are ovulating and need ivf to get pregnant. He sacred us away for trying less invasive treatments because it will greatly increase your risk of multiples and tubes may lead to ectopic. He was a car salesman pressuring us into a decision right then. Was hard getting a copy of my records. Charged $1 per page with multiple duplicate pages. second opinion-My tubes are totally fine, the HSG was not at all painful because the doctor did not use the barbaric techniques they used. So why were they pushing me for ivff?MY INSURANCE COVERS IT! THEY MENTIONED MULTIPLE TIME WELL YOUR COVERED SO JUST DO IT AND YOU HAVE SUCH GREAT INSURANCE YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT! Sorry but I don't want to do ivf just to do it.

I was patient for about a year. I did 3 IUI’s and 1 IVF that resulted in a baby. Overall the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. There was a wait sometimes in the morning, but that was to be expected since everyone goes early before work.

He is wonderful! The wait is a bit long but he truly seems to care. I have a beautiful baby and will be going back for my second child when I am ready.

The quality of care has diminished over the last 12-months. Expect average wait times of 1+ hours and during the weekends there is only one nurse on staff. There appears to be considerable staff turn-over among the doctors and nurses as well as in the reception area. Everyone appears to be very knowledgeable but unorganized and overwhelmed which leads to a lack of patient confidence. The physical, emotional, and financial investment is too great, so be sure to do your homework: http://www.sart.org/frame/detail.aspx?id=3893. The above site can be a start.

If you want to be told IVF is the only way to go before a Doctor actually performs an exam on you, then go to The Diamond Institute and see Dr. Yemini. He just loved talking about IVF, basically it reminded my husband and I of a car dealer trying to get you to make a purchase. Very tacky approach and I did not like the office at all or the Doctor. This made me run out of the place. Some of the patints were even scary. One girl was on the couch like it was her bed, sleeping and wearing her pajammas. No lie. Other patients looked like they just got released from prison. I guess the state pays for IVF, too. Anyhow, I did not end of here. If you do some research, you will find out this place is not recommended much and many Doctors (OB-GYN) don't refer to this place. I see why. It has a horrible reputation. Find another RE, don't trust this car salesman. Unethical
