I’m in disbelief of these reviews all my 3 kids have seen her since birth they are now 30,23,and17,she now also sees granddaughter. She is wonderful she calls to check in on kids after a sick visit, always leaves no stone unturned with health issues.

Saw her at Warren Clinic Urgent Care. Very rude and agitated when asked her a question. Not good bedside manner at all especially for pediatrician. Did not explain diagnosis well at all. Glad she isn’t our regular pediatrician.

I wish I would have read reviews before I took my children here. I am a nurse and have knowledge on how things should run. Dr. August has horrible bedside manner and is extremely impersonable. Her front office staff are rude and condescending, they could not even provide me with an itemized statement for my FSA account, she looked at me like I was the dumb one haha. I would never recommend her to anyone! Thank God I didn't need her for anything serious and have plenty of time to find a new pediatrician! Don't waste your time.

Worst pediatric office and most incompetent staff I have ever encountered in my life! The pediatrician is a completely ignorant, do yourselves a favor and find a pediatrician who knows what they're doing and actually cares for their patients!

Dr. August has been pediatrician for our family since our first was born in 1996. I've never been disappointed and have always felt as though she leaves no stone unturned in the care for our children. We've been fortunate to have had very healthy children so have mainly been to her for well-child checkups; however, in the few instances it has been more complicated than that, I always felt as though she treated my children as though they were her own -- ultra-cautious and very complete care. Highly recommend.

The 1st visit was OK. I gave them 3 more chances & really wish I would have just chosen somewhere else to begin with. The doctor & nurses repeated themselves multiple times in the same visit and said the same thing everytime we went in for my baby's acid reflux. I felt as though they were talking to me like I am an idiot because I am a first time mom. They also just assumed that I am younger than I am because of my appearance and were quite rude because of it. I am 23, and I do not appreciate being judged because someone thinks I am 17 with a baby. What got me the most was that my daughter's belly button got infected AFTER her umbilical cord fell off, so Dr. August referred me to a surgeon to have the excess skin removed - this would have been with general anesthesia on my 3 month old baby!! I started putting alcohol on it that weekend and it cleared up within 3 weeks. I still went to the surgeon and they told me that surgery was unnecessary. Needless to say, that was her final straw.

she a very good dr. my daughter has seen her since she was born and i had some insurance problems. they did add her to my policy yet when she was prem born and she let me bill it . and check out as self pay .she always return phone calls great dr.
