I have been with Dr. Hashemi since 2002 when I was pregnant with my third baby. he was very kind and at the time I had not understood much English, but she still was able to understand the reasons for my visits. She went into thorough explanations for every single medical issue or situation I was in whether it was about my stress at home with my husband. She was always kind and understanding and I could trust her with everything- she was not just a doctor, she was more of a friend. She had delivered two of my children (in 2004 & 2008 at Fair Oaks Hospital), and she always called and asked about my health afterwards. In late 2008, my financial situation was bad so I had to switch to a different medical institution, but I returned to her just last year because the ob/gyn specialist I had made my life and health miserable. I am back with her again and she is helping to me get better again, she is the most wonderful doctor I have ever been with, and she never lets anything get in the way of her client's visits. I love Dr. Hashemi more than I can express in words.
We went for Dr Hashemi after looking at the reviews on the web.Dr hashemi forgot to do our initial blood screening in the first trimester, when asked why in the second trimester she does not have a answer, Also I went to other doctors to get second opinions about wrong diagnosis of Taxoplosmosis for my pregnant wife, We came to know that it is not generally tested If you don't have history of any pets or gardening. It is also not tested because of lack reliability in the local labs.. In any case we were given wrong diagnosis and because of that we lived in real misery for one month until we got confirmation from California lab that she does not have it. By the way I forgot to tell, she gave result of taxoplosmosis after the reports were sitting on her desk for one month. Is this the concern you show to your patients ? What if the Taxoplosmosis was really there ? You are ok with baby developing all defects life long just because you are taking lot of patients than you can handle.
Do not go to Dr. Hashemi. Her staff are careless about you. I had a Pap test and blood work done and never heard from them. They never call me back with the results. I called to ask and the receptionist told me to call back! These people don't care about you. Don't waste your time. Go to another doctor. I don't recommend her to anyone.
Staff are so unfriendly and careless. They are dealing with people's health, Im wondering where that come from. Specially the receptionist she is look so unhappy. After my biopsy basically nobody did care to call me and discussed the results with me.that ended up with having 2 separated surgery and 2 cost instead of having one in a month.
I delivered via C-section with Dr Hashemi and couldn't believe how quickly I recovered. Everyone was amazed. I think her surgical skills must be the main reason for this. I really liked her, as well as her midwife, Tracy. Marlene and the other staff are great too. I had some billing issues with my insurance company and Dr Hashemi's billing company was amazingly efficient and helpful, especially Summer. I am done having kids but will keep on seeing Dr Hashemi for my yearly exams even though I now live a little farther away!
I saw dr hashemi my entire pregnancy. I had to have a c-section delivery. Dr hashemi did the surgery and literally did not say a word to me the whole time. When the baby was taken out she didn't hold her up to show me or at the least say congratulations..Nothing. After they took my daughter out of the room and she was stitching me up, we sat there in silence for 30 mins. When I went for my incision check up she was not there so I saw traci. Later I went for my 6 week postpartum check up and AGAIN I saw traci. So I haven't seen her since the delivery. I am so disappointed in her.I also got a bill from her husband for 1,950.00. I called the office because I'd never heard of him so I called the office and they told me he assists all of her c-sections. She never asked me or told me he would be there. My insurance didn't pay for an assistant when it wasn't necessary. It's just another way for him and her to get some extra cash. I will NEVER recommend her or return to her office ever again.
Dr. Hashemi helped me during my first pregnancy in 2010. At first she was very attentive, she has a lot of patients, therefore somedays she wouldn't spend as much time in a visit. However she is bright and smart enough to see any problems. I was feeling good, but she saw my baby was not gaining much weight, I had a ultrasound and her suspicious was confirmed, I was put on bed rest. My baby was born at 37 gestational weeks weighting 4lbs15. After 2 m Dr hashemi did a few blood work and found out what my problem was. I have a generic problem can't absorb much folic acid. I now know I need to take a ton of this vit. I am expecting my 2nd child and will be seeing dr hashemi again. Almost forgot, she now has a midwife registered nurse, that helps her out when dr hashemi is delivering babies, I forgot her name , but this midwife is Very knowledgeable kind and attentive, I would not mind to see her instead of the doctor once in a while. Conclusion, I do highly recommend this practice.
Think twice before you choose this doctor, the doctor is careless ,the staff is rude ,I was pregnant for 17 weeks before they give me the first appointment!!!,then for the second visit she gave me the package includes 2 types of expired medicine!!!!. And when I choose another OBGYN they send me a $50.00 bill for no show???? 2 months later after the fact that I took my medical report 2 months ago .Bad experience......
