Alen Cohen is the most talented, knowledgeable, professional and caring Doctor I’ve ever met. Knowing the urgency of my problem, he gave me a same day appointment & fit me into his surgical schedule 3 days later. He performed 3 procedures and walked me through everything being done, calming my fears. His medical expertise was obvious, & I knew I was in great hands. Dr. Cohen literally made me feel like his most important patient, and when I had post-surgical questions, he returned my calls promptly, even after business hours. Anyone with ear/nose/throat issues in So. CA could not find a better Dr. than Alen Cohen!

I went to Dr. Cohen after a referral from a friend for a deviated septum repair. I could not breathe for years through the right side of my nose. He diagnosed me on the first visit and said since I had failed all the sprays and meds it's time for surgery. After my research and checking his reputation I saw that he's one of the best at nose and sinus in los angeles and booked my surgery. Surgery was a breeze. 1 hour after going in I was done and heading home an hour later. 4 days later back to work and now 2 weeks later and I've never breathed or slept better. I can't thank him enough he's changed my life! Hands down my best experience with a doctor.

If yelp had an option 0 stars even negative stars that what I was willing to give to this businessman. Because definitely is not a doctor. I made an urgent appointment to visit for an emergency with ear infection. I called them 10:30 and they gave me the sooner available same day 2:15. I was on time and actually at 2:00. I sign all documents etc and I was waiting because the employes haven't yet since the morning verified my insurance policy. 2:40 and still waiting the rude receptionist to verify my insurance policy. I asked to see the doctor ASAP because I was in pain and they asked me to pre pay in advance $200 and when the insurance was able to verify my ID and policy to "send me a check" with a refund. I said this is UN ACCEPTABLE! I'm in pain and you see me like a dollar sign. A number. Assistant manager came and asked me to leave and I was insisting to see the doctor. Here is come the best. The doctor came out I explained to him the situation and that I am in terrible pain and asked me the same. To pre pay and when they verify to refund me the money. I said to him I'm so surprised... Are you a doctor? And his answer was "why are you surprised? All hotels do the same!!!!! HOTELS!!!!" I said exactly the hotels not a doctor with dignity who gave an oath to Hippocrates !!! SHAME SHAME SHAME. These people are just businessmen unfortunately they asked me to leave with so much pain. SHAME SHAME SHAME! Also everything is recorded with his authorization. No shame at all, not dignity at all! Not a doctor but a businessman! WOW!

I've suffered for years with chronic breathing problems and sinus infections. Allergy tests were negative and nobody could figure out my problem. In one visit Dr. Cohen diagnosed me and did a CAT scan right there. He put me on some meds for 3 weeks and then saw me back. Since not better as I told him I would not be better with meds, he recommended what he calls minimally invasive sinus surgery. I'm now 3 months out and my whole life has changed. I can go out, I can fly, I can swim and I don't have a headache every day. Hands-down he's changed my life for the better and I'm greatful!

I went to Dr. Cohen after a referral from a coworker for my nose and sinus problems that had plagued me for years. I got in to see him after a one week wait and we had a discussion regarding my issues with congestion, headaches and recurrent sinus infections. He scoped me at the visit and noticed some polyps. Then he told me to get on some allergy meds and got a CAT scan of my sinuses. 2 weeks later I came back and he told me of all my sinus issues and deviated septum. I decided to go forward with surgery since I had been miserable for years and the meds only helped a little. I had surgery one month ago and you can't imagine the change in my life. I'm so happy with the results and have never felt better. I can breathe without headaches and can smell things so much better. So if you have nose or sinus problems, I can't say enough about Dr. Cohen. He is the best!

Dr. Cohen was very polite, and caring to my son and I. He made my 32 month old son (age on 09/07) feel comfortable by talking to him first and making him smile before his examination. I was very pleased with the explanation to my questions he gave me. Also for allowing me to ask him all questions and concerns I had. He took his time with my son's appointment. I did not feel like he rushed trough it. Because of the positive experience my 36 month old son had with Dr. Cohen he is not afraid to go to any Dr.'s appointments he has. One of the best doctors I've ever been to! He performed my sinus surgery without pain and the recovery was so easy. No packing too, I was afraid of that. He is also very good at botox and fillers which I had done with him too.

I just love Dr. Cohen. He is one of the best specialists I have ever been to in my life and I have been to many. He took his time with me to explain the procedure in detail and what to expect after surgery. Nothing was a surprise. I expected significant pain after thyroid surgery but I had very little and the incision was so tiny. He is absolutely one of the best and so smart and caring! I would go back to him in a heartbeat if I needed to.
