Dr Lowell is Intelligent, through, caring, considerate, very accessible 24/7 just a wonderful Doctor! He educates you on improving your health, very insightful and honest. I have been a patient for about 30 years. Appointments are prompt, I often get in earlier than my appt. time, he actually takes time with you, what a great medical experience. The office has modern equipment, spotlessly clean, complimentary coffee, tea, and bottled water. His office also specializes in nutritional supplements. I'd recommend Dr Lowell to anyone, Dr Lowell has also authored a few books on diet and health. Truly a knowledgeable understanding physician who strives to help you.

Dr. Lowell saved my life also. In 2001, his office was located in Bayside, NY (difficult parking area). Thank God he moved to Great Neck where there is plenty of parking. I was late for my appointment and had to park blocks away from his office. As I was rushing to my appointment, I was having pains in my chest, sweating and numbness in both arms. I had these symptoms before but not to this degree. These were the reasons I made the appointment with his office in the first place. Although I was late, he saw me anyway. After giving me a cardio exam, he suggested I immediately go to the emergency room. At the hospital they did an examination and said "they didn't see a reason for me to be admitted." Of course by now I had calmed down. Dr. Lowell insisted that they do more tests. I was admitted that night and operated on the next morning (stint). I was told by the operating physician I was inches away from a massive heart attack. Thank God for Dr. Lowell.

Dr. Lowell has been my doctor for the past 5 years. He helped me loose nearly 100lbs, treated some endocrine abnormalities, and has always given me time and useful, realistic advice. A few years back Dr. Lowell may have saved my life. Long story short, I had incredible abdominal pain, very high fever and had diahreah, vomiting, the works.I'm a thin guy but lost 21 lbs in 5 days. Thought I was dying. Finally I went to an Emergency Clinic. The Dr.there said "pack a bag. You have appendicitis, get to a hospital." My sister's a nurse she said go see Dr. Lowell.Dr. Lowell took one look at me said it's a form a food poisoning (campylobachter.) Go get a stool sample at a lab. I did that, yes, it turned out to be camplobachter (from under cooked chicken.) I took anti biotic for three days and was cured. Far as Im concerned he saved my life.
