I have been seeing Dr. Kay for 10 years for everything from routine mole checks to laser hair and spider vein removal. He uses all the latest technology and offers services at a reasonable rate if you're cash pay. His office is beautiful and the staff are great. I've always been very pleased with my results.

save your time and money and go somewhere else!!! 1. if you are on time for your appt, it doesnt matter. you need to wait over half an hour. 2. if you are going for the "free consultation," get ready to be billed AND have ur ins billed too. 3. if you are going to see dr. kay, dont expect to see dr. kay. 4. if you hate rude staff members, stear clear of this office. 5. if you still end up going and encounter 1 or all of these problems, too bad. you were warned. look at all the reviews on this place... THEYRE HORRIBLE! and check them out on the business better bureau... they have an F rating!! do not even bother with the headache.

The main consultation is with a NP and not the Doctor. The staff answeres with "I don't knows" without suggesting alternatives. The manager doesn't care about feedbacks. He is a great doctor with poor service.

I have been going to Dr. Kay for about 10 years. He has a wonderful bedside manner- not to mention his staff are very polite and skilled! He is like having a top notch Beverly Hills surgeon working in the San Fernando Valley (Burbank) without the Beverly Hills prices. I am surprised by a couple of reviews I have read on various search engines regarding people being disappointed. Sometimes I wonder if the negative reviews actually come from competing doctors that want to stain the reputation of a fellow doctor, which is one flaw of internet reviews. I just felt that after 10 years or so of Dr. Kay taking very good care of me I would do a good deed and show my appreciation for his services. ..One last point is that I actually look at the consistency of reviews for a business or product as opposed to one or two bad/bogus reviews out of many- as sometimes some people just leave a negative review for the wrong reasons. Sincerely, Kenny Prager

Dr. Kay is a wonderful and highly competent skin cancer surgeon. I went for two mos surgeries for basal cell skin cancer. Problem is not with the doctor, but his overactive practice. I think they schedule too many people every day so the waits are outrageous. Meanwhile, you have to listen to the obnoxious looping of his video about all of his plastic surgery procedures. But in terms quality of medical services, competence of this doctor and personal interaction with the patient, he is very very high in my book. I trust him with my procedures. I just have to deal with the inconvenience of a long wait. I agree his front room staff leaves much to be desired but his back room staff (the ones who help with the procedures) they are excellent.

Someone told me that what I have on my skin looks like cancer and I should immediately see a doctor. I called Dr. Martin H. Kay's office for an appointment. My call was dropped twice and on the third effort I was told the doctor couldn't see me until 28 days into next month. The receptionist knew skin cancer was the issue. Needless to say, I believe that this doctor has his priorities in other places. Like in expensive plastic surgery over killer skin cancer.

You will ALWAYS have to wait at LEAST 1/2 an hour after you get to the waiting room, even if you're on time for your appointment. Most of the time I have to wait 45 minutes.
