This is the worst doctor I ever saw. Not only was he rude and arrogant, but completely incompetent too.

Dr. Tavari is like every other Dr. these days. A slave to medicine and machines. I have a stomach illness I have been suffering from for 3 years. I have yet to have any relief and still no answers. Simply lots of endos, colos, bloodwork and not a single answer...He is overloaded like most MDs, 5 to 1 ratio...so true attention is a luxury at any rate. But after my most recent event where I had another episode with my stomach and lost 22 lbs in 3.5 weeks off of a 140 lb frame and they had almost no concern I will never return. I had to beg to be put on IV bc I couldn't handle liquids, they wanted to send me to ER for that to save their effort but that would have charged me like 5x more than at their office so I said no. My results have shown very weird levels of stomach bacteria that he paid no attention too, I began to study on my own, I found correcting those bacteria would fix my issue, not mask symptoms with pills. I don't want to take Nexium 1/2x day the rest of my life at age 27...

Initially, I thought this was a great, caring doctor. Over time, however, when I ran into health issues, I discovered that neither Dr. Tavari nor his staff will return calls (certainly not promptly, if at all), follow up on tests within a few weeks if at all, follow up on further treatment or testing options, finish needed paperwork, or go any kind of extra mile. He loves to order a lot of bloodwork, which means more money for him and his office; look at the local paper and see how often he's quoted in there to start ascertaining that he's primarily driven by making money, with patient care a very distant second place. My experience was so disappointing over several months; it took me awhile to realize that he genuinely did not care about my health or recovery. I'd recommend finding a doctor who isn't as busy and who has a consistent nurse (part of the problem may be that his usual nurse was out quite awhile and seems to be out a lot), with an actual organized office system.

What a great, caring doctor. He leaves no stone unturned and genuinely cares. I've been going to him since the beginning of the year and have finally found a great primary care doctor. Fabulous!

Really great doctor who found out causes for problems I'd had for years, after several other doctors were dismissive. Excellent.

I changed doctors after 4 or 5 years just recently because my last doctor so clearly didn't care. On my first visit with Dr. Tavari a few weeks ago to ask about something specific, he was very caring and promised to be better than my last one. This visit, though, which was to be a physical, was a comedy of errors. I won't go into it all, but the appointment had not been scheduled correctly, he clearly didn't remember me at all, and I received a very cursory exam, the quickest in my life. So I have two different impressions of him and don't know what to think. I'll try him just once more; I was terribly disappointed and didn't feel he was listening to the issues. He also didn't order a couple of things he said he would and there was a problem with me taking a prescription he had written. Not sure at all what to think; perhaps it was a bad day, but everyone, including him, seemed totally scattered and disorganized. (And I was in what had to have been a closet, not a real exam room.)

Good doctor. He listens and is attentive to ones needs. He makes proper referrals and turns over all stones to find the right diagnosis. His bedside manner is pleasant.
