I would not recommend this doctor. I did not go through everything knowing that if it doesn't smell right, doesn't look right, it probably isn't. We have insurance for a reason, so that we use it.

I do not recommend this "doctor." I spent thousands of dollars in cash with no relief. Each visit is out of pocket and is at least near $400. I used this doctor for almost a year but couldn't afford him anymore and wasn't receiving any results for my TMJ. My chiropractor is $10 a visit and has worked extensively on my jaw and I now have significant improvement. If you are treating TMJ and are otherwise healthy, save yourself the money, time and frustration and find a chiropractor who specializes in TMJ treatment, like I did. No amount of head, neck and back injections from Klemons can compete to the healthier alternative.

I found dr. klemons on the internet and made an appointment immediately after seeing the immense amount of patients he helped out. He is genuine, compassionate, and got to the root of my problem after years of suffering. He didn't just medicate my symptoms. He cured my headaches and tmj after a few visits. I will miss dealing with him

I agree with the comments above. Very vague other than "I think we can help". You see him once than your off to cash draining procedures. On a weekly basis they ask you about your pain (to measure improvement) and when you tell them "no improvement" they always respond with "well it takes time" and lets try this new procedure. A waste of time!!!

I was suffering from constant headaches after being in an accident, I was referred to Klemons by a neurologist & my lawyer. Klemons assured me he could help me & was quick to whip out the testimonial book, point out his map of patients from around the world, & show-off his high-tech scanner. He confidently told me he could rid me of my headaches & also assured me that my car insurance would pay ("we always collect..." were his words). 30 days into treatment the claim was denied by the insurance company. Klemons again assured me that they "...always collect". 30 days later, the claim was again denied. He kept up the same dialogue. Well, the claim was eventually denied in arbitration & I got hit with a bill of $6200. The big problem is that NOT ONCE did Klemons ever check my blood pressure. I was taking motrin for pain. When I ended up in the ER for extremely high BP, I was informed that motrin increases BP and would cause the headaches. I stopped the medicine and my headaches ceased.

On my first appt I was encouraged to read binders of testimonials--letters from "happy patients" who swore Dr. Klemens changed their lives. Then he insisted he wouldn't take on a patient he feels he can't help, perhaps to instill confidence that he wasn't just after the big bucks.Of course, he felt he could help, though my migraines originate behind my head, not face or jaw. Not getting better, he added expensive injections to which he claimed "90% success." I did not. Months later he discharged me, acknowledging the treatment wasn't working. Naturally, I was not asked to add to the volumes of testimonials. I eventually recouped some of the cost back through my insurance company, but only after denials & lengthy appeals process with endless paperwork. Note:Use of HEATING PAD alone during nerve stimulation=$35, & when I balked at paying for written instructions (SERIOUSLY?), they waived that fee. (I do commend the staff who helped with insurance paperwork).

Dr. Klemons and staff were competent, did accurately diagnose and treat (as far as they could) my TMJ problem, and relieved throbbing and disabling pain. Their treatments were costly and so far not compensated by insurance. The appliances were competently made. At the point where my improvement plateaued, Dr. Klemons recommended I see a surgeon, because my jaw dislocation was severe. Through his tests, he also picked up one additional anomaly that my primary care physician is keeping an eye on. I saw reference to his personal style in other writeups...I think his intentions are positive but he might put off some people because he spoke way too fast on the first consult and also likes to give all his information before he takes questions! So my experience is mixed. I would undoubtedly be happier if the treatment (a)had totally solved my problem, which he never promised and (b) had been compensated by insurance...his staff is still working with me to try to do that.

I would not go to Dr. Klemons. After being examined by Dr. Klemons I have tmj so he wanted me to do the treatment. I asked him several times how much it would coast and he would not tell me. Then I sat down with the secretary who did the financial part and she revealed the coast of treatment which would be $7,000 and they are not through insurance. My first visit I got a CT scan and he didnt tell me where on the scan it revealed I had tmj and went into detail about my hyoid bone and other pointless things on the scan. The last part of the first visit is when they discuss how much it will coast. Well I decided to talk it over with my parents and Dr. Klemons got very defensive and started saying that surgery will be so much more then his treatment. Meanwhile there's a chance that the treatment will not work and I wasted 7,000 dollars. His office was not even crowded I was the only patient there. Honestly, that is a warning sign right there. I would defiantly search for another doctor!
