Dr. F. Dana Fortunato's Ratings
I recently started to go back to Dana again because he is simply..the best! I met him through my brother, who holds a high bar to who he has see his children and himself. To say the least,I would travel to another state if I had a cold.He is thorough, spot on with a diagnosis, and his knowledge is limitless out outside of his specialty. Regarding the comments below, pertaining to "making fun" of his clients.I have never once seen Dana be nothing but cordial too his patients. If anything, the supposed "rudeness" that you have seen from his assistant, which happens to be his wife Lisa,is her reminding him to follow up with his patients, because he is so busy.If you want the best,Dana is the doctor to see.

I was extremely satisfied with my appointment with Dr. Fortunato.

Dr. is extremely negative and very pessimistic when relating both to his patients and their relatives. He allowed his nurse to be very disrespectful to him in front of his patients and make fun of him to his patients when he was out of the exam room. The quality of his work deteriorated significantly over the last few years which could be related to his divorce and remarriage and his current legal concerns.

Waited one hour and 10 minutes today with an elder parent tho has been his patient for 10+ yrs who fell 6 wks ago and broke her pelvis and has dementia. Uncaring, impatient, laughing at her dementia and never asked who I was or how I am related. Never looked at her chart. And he sends $84 bills to her every time she goes, although she has Medicare and supplement. Horrible care particurally for elderly.

This doctor was great years ago but now, he is just awful and so is his staff. He rushes, has misdiagnosed my asthma and I got so much worse. Would no longer recommend him to anyone.

Not thorough, patient or compassionate with elderly patients.

Dr. Fortunato is the best doctor anyone could ask for! When I had Lyme disease, my other doctors kept telling me it was the flu. When I couldn't get better, I went to him and he was so thorough and did a barage of tests and found what was wrong with me. with the right medication, I am better! I have stuck with him for many years since then, and he also helped my son when the inept doctors taking care of him missed the fact that he had pneumonia! He is God send and a wonderful human being! The only down side is he is very busy and be prepared to wait well over an hour in the waiting room. Bring a good book to read! He is worth it! The staff is friendly and caring too!

He has a wonderful bedside manner. He is thorough too, meaning he does not limit your exam to what is cheapest for insurance. The only downside is that he often runs late and for well-visits he tends to rush and not give a lot of time for discussion.

Best Dr. I have ever been to. Takes time with every person he sees. His professionalism has a trickle effect as his staff is extremely helpful and make you feel as one of their family.
