My husband and I had the good fortune of being recommended to Dr. Khrom by our internist. We are both fair and had several bouts of skin cancer due to years of being out in the sun.I was quite upset when my husband was diagnosed with a melanoma. Dr. Khrom, a Mohs surgeon, made us feel at ease and performed the surgery on my husband in her office. We didn't have to go somewhere else like many other Dermatology offices. The care and concern by Dr. Khrom and her extremely well trained staff, makes having a procedure less stressful and easier to recover from. They call you after the surgery and keep close contact with you throughout your recovery. It is rare today to find a clean, well run office with a doctor and staff who really care. I have recommended Dr. Khrom to my friends and family members because I care about their well being. No one wants to be ill and have to see a doctor, but if you want the best dermatology care possible, call Dr. Khrom for an appointment. I hardly ever take the time to write a review of any kind. In the case of Dr. Khrom and her entire staff at Khrom Dermatology, however, I felt compelled to leave a mark of excellence here, on the web. I am a cosmetic patient of Dr. K. After seeing a plastic surgeon in Manhattan for years, I was referred to Khrom Dermatology by a friend. I immediately felt at ease at this office and after several cosmetic sessions understood that I'm not going anywhere else for my fillers and "neurotoxins", as Dr. Khrom calls them :-)! Thank you for being my newfound Cosmetic Office!

In February of 2012, I began treatment at another office (not Dr. Khrom). I continued the therapy until July, not missing a single appointment, EVERY TWO WEEKS. To be honest, there was little progress, not what you would expect after so many visits and so much unpleasant therapy (cryotherapy). After six months, I was becoming really frustrated and depressed that the warts would never go away. In addition, little ones continued to appear. A relative of mine recommend I got see Doctor Khrom. My first appointment with her was in September 2012. I KID YOU NOT, by the end of December, she was able to clean my hands, (killing that SUPER stubborn mother wart in the process). Unlike the previous office, Doctor Khrom right away tried to tackle the warts using SEVERAL different methods (candida injections, cantheradin, and cryo as well). So basically, in about 4 sessions (once a month), she CURED ME!!!! When that final "mother wart" finally died and fell off, I could not believe it.

Dr. Khrom performed MOHS surgery plus reconstrctive surgery of the lower eyeblid after I was diagnosed with skin cancer. I could not be more satisfied with the results. After just one month after the surgery my scar is invisble. GREAT JOB. Would absolutely recommend Dr. Khrom to anyone. Very knowledgeble and plesant. Staff is very friendly. And surgery results are awesome.

Dr. Khrom is the best. She helped my son's skin with his bad eczema. I will continue to use her. I recommend her to everyone.

I usually don't write reviews, but I've had such a bad experience here I feel obligated to help others out who are considering this office's services. DON'T. Their customer service is abhorrent (for example, I need a receipt for for insurance purposes. After politely requesting the receipt three times, I have yet to receive anything). The doctor's bedside manner was also poor - I felt like a specimen, not a patient. I'm not an UES social elite. I'm a middle-class college student from Pittsburgh who is not annoyed by anything. But my experience with this office has been abhorrent, and I feel the need to steer others away from choosing this office for their dermatological needs.

I am a patieint who has had many basel cell carcinomas removed through mohs surgery. The first mohs surgeon I used did a terrible job. I subsequently went to see Dr Khrom when she was working in NJ several years ago. She removed a basel cell using mohs surgery and the scare is almost non-existent within a few months. I was very disappointed when she moved her practice to Brooklyn but I continue use her as my dermatologist. She has done several mohs procedures as well as other non-surgical treatments. She knows what she is doing and can be trusted to provide the correct diagnosis. If you also need surgical procedures, both the medical and cosmetic results are excellent.

Sent my mom to be seen at Khrom Dermatology - she was found to have a skin cancer. The doctor called me up and explained the need for skin cancer surgical cure. Now my mom is 1 month after surgery on her face and you can't even tell she had one done! Amazing ! Great job, doc! Thanks for my mom.
