Bottom Line: He comes off like a SALESMAN. I went to Dr. Arani's office a few weeks ago for an HPV treatment and wart removal, something that is of course uncomfortable. His secretaries on the phone would not discuss cost, saying that the doctor would discuss it with you. This is a classic sales technique. When I saw the doctor, his tone was: "Your situation is so bad, I can't do this for less than X amount of dollars." My situation wasn't that bad. My advice: TRY ANOTHER PLACE . Maybe he is knowledgeable, maybe he's even good. But he used SALES TECHNIQUES and came off like a USED CAR SALESMAN. You just get an icky feeling that he's all about sales. Bad vibe. As other people have commented, the Doctor makes you feel TERRIBLE about your condition to pressure you into treatment. Without really discussing your situation, he writes you up a bill and tells you to "sign here", just assuming you're going to agree to pay him THOUSANDS of dollars. Don't.
The positive, Dr. Arani very knowledgeable and his staff are nice. The negative; he says he charges 20 dollars for a consultation, but when you have to run a test such as an HIV test he charges an insane amount of money, to me this appears to be his major concern. Sure he will give you "peace of mind" as they state in their website, but it will cost you. So if you need quick results this is the place to go, but be warned take lots and lots of cash.
For U guys are looking for an honest online review i am writing my Geek real exp with Dr. Arani. I will give you positive and negative part of my visit with him. I did my search and search to find a surgeon for my wart problem. Embarrassing enough I did not want to enter 5 different places before choosing the right one. I chose this guy because he had a reputation of treating warts with good result. liked his office and everyone seemed helpful except the person answering the phone. I let him operate on me and he told that I had to wait few days to see the result. Outcome nothing less than what I expected and perfect. I should say, he did an excellent work. I wanted to write this review earlier, but I wanted to wait and see the outcome or if the wart going to come back which did not. I am not sure where he is from despite seeing many american flags in his office ! but apart from that, he is a great doc and kind and I guess I settle down with his skill and not his accent.
Last week i went for my final final visit for my HPV treatment and I waited to see what is the final outcome before I write this review.I have been dealing with HPV for 4 and half years was just about to give up.I found Dr Arani from Texas recommended to me by my family doctor and to come over this last fall . The office was very nice and clinic and nurses and people I saw were all friendly. Arni saw me same day told him being frustrated of treating my Hpv and just about to give up and i don’t want any trial shot and experiment and I want to make sure 100% if he can do it. Sound confident an sharp to me so I decided to go with his surgery. there were no pain and he was fast and it took him about 30 minutes or so. He gave me instruction and few weired advises such as don’t shave there , don’t smoke ,,okkkk !! I think I should wax hahaa Bottom line It is all gone :) big and small all gone . awesome outcome and quite please, i wish i could post pictures , but of course I won’t !
I had genital warts for 12 years. I got it when i met my 2nd girlfriend in my life and ever since it has been a nightmare . I have gone to many different doctors. Many of them promised to me that they be able to help me. I had all kind of treatment , cooling nitrogen , laser, cream. None worked and I tried to do it myself my nailcliper (don’t ask me how), apple cider etc. I went for my last attempt to Dr. Arani for his opinion and I tell you from the first encounter visit I felt he can help me and I loved his confidence. I agree to let him remove my warts using his own technique. I had no pain, no bleeding and it was over in about 45 minutes or so. It has been 3 months and i am so thankful to him. It looks awesome and i gain my confidence back . I just wished that I have found him years ago. Folks out there if you have genital warts that regular treatment has not worked for you then go to him, I know you will thank me , God bless you doctor and I thank you so much.
Guys here is my visit with real review: Had HPV wart for 1 1/2 year with all type of treatment, went to him 20 days ago before holidays. Positive points: Knowledgeable, competent MD who knows HPV in and out, like Armstrong knows the moon! I got fixed, no pain, and doing well, love the outcome as he promised, he answer his calls :) Negative point: not cheap Conclusion: If you have HPV, he is the one with solution.
To whom it may concern, I went online to get tested they said it would take 1 day for results. It took them far longer then once results came in, the lab had no doctor to refer me to they just said go to go to a clinic to get taken care of, and that they will fax over my information. I had to start over again. Then I came to Dr. Arani and got treated. I really had a great experience at his facility the staff were great. I know next time this is the first place i come to.
I first went to my local physician who found 3 warts, froze them off, then said it wasn't anything too big to worry about and to read up on HPV. A week later those 3 turned to 9. I saw Dr Arani, mortified with what had happened over the last week, and decided if he said he'd get rid of these and it would take follow up appts at 2 months and 6, that gave me some feeling he was confident and wasn't shy about recommending his services and that he'd be available for phone calls anytime (which he has so far). Unfortunately, there's really no way to bring these kinds of conversations up when looking for referrals unless you're 100% sure that person has HPV. I'd love to talk to someone who's gone to Dr Arani and had success with this because I'm still very nervous and hope my money's been well spent. If anyone reads this and has had success with him, would you please email me at email@example.com? He was pretty good with me, but I really need some peace of mind here.
The good: true to his word, he allowed just a $20 consultation fee and didn't perform the expensive $400 STD tests unless I agreed. I didn't and he allowed me time to think about it. The bad: his degree was from a med school in the Caribbean. Hi everybody! The clinic is in South Central LA and its surroundings re-affirmed the stereotype of this neighborhood-- poor, run-down and scary. The clinic itself was ok but did give off a vibe that it's doing something shady. Anyway, Dr. Arani saw me and told me I needed to take his battery of tests for $400. I had already taken some of them with Kaiser. No matter, I needed to take them anyway. Seemed fishy to me so I told him I'd think about it and left. He seemed competent enough but seemed more like a salesman. Checkout his website and Youtube videos. His personality comes through. I plan to look elsewhere.
