I was an established patient when I discovered I had kidney stones. I went to my appointment and gave a urine specimen. I tested it with my own strips before we even left the house and it showed that I had a lot of blood in my urine. Dr Haber came in and said my CT scan showed that I had stones but that they were so small that they would pass on their own and they shouldn't be causing me any pain. He wouldn't give me anything for pain. I think that's an abuse of authority. #1- if men had babies or constant kidney stones, there would be gum ball machines full of pain meds in the lobby of every building. #2- if you don't like being a doctor, quit or take up another specialty. Please don't take it out on your patients. #3- don't lie about test results. People can and do monitor their own health, with accurate products, they buy on the internet. And you can buy ANYTHING on the internet. #4- don't be a jerk. You WILL be reviewed. So, all in all, save your sanity, your kidneys, your ureters and your bladder. Find a doctor who cares. It's not this one.

Worst experience at a doctor I have ever had!! I was referred to him due to the amount of kidney stones I had been producing. I will say it was very easy to get an appointment that was the only good thing. I ran all over town to get records of CT scans and hospital visits. I was completely prepared for the appointment. He came in said, "so you have stones? When was the last one?" I told him about my recent hospital visit a few days ago an that the pain still has not gone away. He said we will get you set up with a CT scan. Give me just a second and I'll be right back. He never came back. His nurse returned and said they will contact you within a week for a CT scan and he called in an antibiotic. After the CT scan you will contact us for a follow up. I said what about the pain I'm currently in and the stones I haven't passed. She said sorry this is how we do it. His bedside manner was horrible, he spent all of 2 minutes with me and never even examined me. He asked me 2 questions and said he would return and never came back. I was absolutely appalled. I am 24 days away from being married, in a whole lot of pain, and continued kidney stones. He did nothing for me. I will make sure everyone knows how horrible he really was. No sympathy, no knowledge, nothing!!!

I went in thinking I had another kidney stone..he didn't even examine me. He told me he couldnt help, but he'd lead me into the right direction. I started to cry & he told me I had no right to cry..that he had other patients dying from cancer that would love my pain. He went on to talk about other patients and then left me..my "examination" was maybe 3 min after I waited 45min in the waiting room & than another 30 in the room. His PA was just as friendly..I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO HIM.
