The best doctor you can ask for….help me 15 years ago and still doing great

This man is a national treasure. He repaired my right knee 4 years ago. It was not supposed to last two years as it is pretty tore up and needs replacement. Its still working perfectly. He just repaired my left knee on the 7th. The morning of the 8th I woke up with zero pain and walked away like a teenager. I was on the treadmill 2 days after and I feel reborn. He has the knowledge and skill to save lives and he is so humble. An absolute superstar! I feel so lucky to have had him do surgery on me. I never even filled my pain prescription. Was zero pain afterward. He is awesome.

Thanks to Dr, Guy he ensured my 3 broken bones could heal without adding plate/ screws. He also helped a friend,s husband with serious leg foot injuries from being hit by a car.

Have worked with him for a year and a half. Obviously punctuality is out of his control but I can't say enough good things about his attention to detail and clear direction regarding next steps.

Dr. P. Guy repaired my raptured biceps. From pre-op to post op, I received an outstanding health service. He and his stuff is humble, kind and very helpful. I was informed about the process, from the risks to the alternatives. During this process, he answered all my questions with incredible humility. Without his patient oriented approach , I couldn't have had this surgery in time. Thanks !

Dr Guy has helped me so much after a broken wrist and complications with CRPS. He is encouraging and got me into the rehab at VGH which has amazing therapists. He saw me every 6 weeks for nearly a year, explaining everything every step of the way. Don’t know where I would have been without his expertise and encouragement. All of the fellows and residents in his cast clinic are top notch too. Thank you Dr Guy! You’re a class act!

I honestly can't say enough about Dr. Guy.... he performed an unbelievable surgery on me and saved me from either having to (most likely) have my right foot amputated. Or at BEST... a full ankle fusion in which I would have a 'peg-leg' for lack of a better expression. Dr. Guy has made a point of ensuring that only he see's me for my appointments and has made this entire process understandable, accomplishable, and has managed to minimize my stress throughout the past 151 days since my horrible car accident. I could write a novel on my appreciation for him and his time/efforts but I'm sure that I am well over my character count already.

Dr Guy and the OR team at VGH performed surgery on my left leg which was broken badly in a motorcycle accident. There were other multiple fractures to my left wrist, chest, hand and neck requiring other surgeons whom I will thank as I write reviews for all. In a nutshell I am walking on 2 legs with full mobility and while my rehab continues I may have pain but I’ve got pain in a leg that is still attached. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Guy, his surgical team, all of the other Doctors and nurses in the OR, the post Op team, all of the ward nurses and the Ortho Clinic Team that brought me thru this. My sincere and heartfelt thanks to all of you wonderful people.

Dr. Guy operated on my wrist in August 2020... he did an amazing job and a year and a half later I'm doing really well with full range of motion and no pain. He was very thoughtful and caring in all of the post-op appointments and helped me focus on those activities that would speed healing and recovery.

I broke my Tibia and Fibula 3 months ago and had Dr Guy placed an IM nail and 4 screws. I couldn’t have asked for a better Doctor. Dr Guy is an awesome doctor and a great person with the coolest demeanor. He checked up on me several times before and after the surgery. He explained everything very clearly and made sure that the surgery would be done to perfection. 3 months after my break I’m walking and feel very confident to be back to 100% very soon.
