I had a similar bad experience. There are lots of unhappy patients, complaining about the same issues. I wished I had seen these reviews before going to him. Has anyone filed a complaint with the medical Board of CA or taken legal action against this doctor?

Dr. Aronowitz was recruited by my ocular plastic surgeon to add stem cell fat grafts. Dr. Aronowitz did not perform most of the procedures he was paid for. The few he did were done incompletely and carelessly, such as my ear. His O.R. Report even misstated the ear deformity. The only time he spends time with the patient is with the "sell." His pre-op consisted of explaining the procedure, not careful examination, & post-ops are rushed to "4 minute" hurry-ups so he can squeeze in more surgeries. He would not release the Operating Room Report until 3 months later, following my lawyer's call. The O.R. Report tried to shift blame for his non-performance on my mental state -- all easily disprovable lies and irrelevant! He even claimed he had talked to my psychiatrist, who had never heard of him, nor talked to him. This dr. not only doesn't care for his patients, he takes no responsibility for his actions and lies to cover up his lack of care and non-performance of procedures.

I booked a breast aug with Dr. Aronowitz to fix a tubular deformity. The day after the surgery, I noticed that one breast was significantly larger than the other (one B cup and D cup). I called the office, and was told Dr. Aronowitz had left for vacation. When he returned a week later, he said one breast was only swollen, and that I should get massage sessions from a woman in his office to make the swelling go down. The massages were $225/session! After realizing the massages weren't helping, he agreed to do a revision. I was already $11,000 down, so I asked about the cost of revision surgery. I was told that Dr. Aronowitz would waive his fee, but I would pay "a maximum of a few hundred dollars for the anesthesia and surgery room costs." I got the revision surgery. I then got a first bill for $2,000, and a second bill for $3,000. I was told that I would have to pay, or they would submit to collections. If you choose Aronowitz, watch your wallet.

Opration to lift breasts after implants removed. After operation, I looked no different than before operation. I paid for a second operation. In this second operation, he did what we agreed upon to the right breast, but not to left breast. He took out a very large amount of tissue, even though we agreed not to have tissue removed. After operation I had a serious infection with high fever in the left breast, the one he gutted. It was swollen to immense proportions, and red and hot. Due to the extent that he deformed left breast, I went through three additional operations to correct deformity Since he removed huge amount of tissue from left breast, it is smaller and deformed. I am so unhappy with myself, and have been depressed ever since. I have no idea what he was thinking when he did this. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

All of the reviess made in June are written by his staff. He makes you wait over an hour for each appointment. His staff liesd to me about what would be included with my surgery. I woke up from surgery only getting half of what I was told I would, and still had to pay the whole amount. They are a bunch of scam artists!!!

15 years ago Dr Aronowitz performed a face & neck lift, upper & lower eyelids & tummy tuck. I was 49, looking tired & worn out & the "apron" on my abdomin was very unattractive. Dr. Aronowitz was the first plastic surgeon I'd met who would do work on an obese patient. Since I was chronically obese, he assured me that my weight wasn't an issue & that he wouldn't charge me any extra fee even though it was extra work for him & gave me a great overall price which allowed me to have all of this work done. He is warm & attentive, highly skilled, truly caring & made me feel very comfortable, as did his staff. I would recommend him with an A+++++ rating. I'm considering arm reduction surgery, tightening up the neck (it's drooping slightly, although most people think I'm 8-10 years younger than I am) & an eyebrow lift since I have a weak muscle on the left side & the brow droops. I can't say enough about Dr Aronowitz, he's a spectacular doctor & human being. I never had an very long wait at all
