DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST FOR IMPLANTS!!! HAD 8 IMPLANTS INSTALLED. Out of those.....8 FAILED. Probably because he screwed them into the socket within 10 minutes of pulling the teeth. Been trying to fi. This quacks incompetence for close to 8 years now. Bone grafts..sinus lifts.... THINK HE USED ME AND A FEIEND OF MINE AS GUINEA PIGS. TOO BAD TOO MUCH TIME HAS PASSED OTHERWISE I'D SUE FOR MALPRACTICE
I have been a patient of Dr. Valdman for many years, a highly-skilled professional with excellent interpersonal skills. When I decided to go to another doctor due to location, I came right back to Dr. Valdman, who just saved me after the endodontist, who poorly did my root canal and prescribed ineffective antibiotics: my face got swollen, and it was the most excruciating pain I have ever experienced. I cannot thank Dr. Valdman enough!
Dr. Vadim Valdman, worst experience i ever had with a dentist, went to see him first time he would not even look at my mouth but said i needed close to 2 thousand dollars worth of treatment. I went to another dentist to get a second opinium and other dentist said all i needed to do was a small procedure costing fifty dolars. I will never take myself to dr Valdim again. beware shark in white jacket. Will over charge and find problem to be able to charge insurance. Money hungry. I wish i had seen other reviews before seeing doctor Valdim. He will never see me nor my family again.
When I called the office for an appointment , I assumed it was a practice operated by the Sachs' family , that happened to be on my dental plan and also recommended by a friend. Lo and behold , no mention was made that Dr. Valdman had bought the practice and that the 3 Sachs' had retired . Before completing the paper work and showing my insurance card , I insisted that I meet the dentist to at least size him up and see whether I'd even like him. I had already googled him to get some limited information as to his educational background and found out he went to Hunter College for his undergraduate . By coincidence , I went to another branch of the same college that was in the Bronx. Apparently , I having graduated 30 years earlier than him , it was useless to argue with him that before he went there , there was a Hunter college in the Bronx , which later changed its name to Herbert H Lehman College ; he was stubborn to acknowledge that fact. I came to see him in the hopes of getting a set of dentures , while holding my temporary ones in a plastic bag. Right away , he was sounding negative about dentures and attempted to up sell me to implants-- as if I didn't know already the difference. Apparently , from the other reviews below , everyone in this office treat patients as a captive audience to get some extra $$ from them or their dental plans. In addition, it seems he is constantly moving i.e New York , Tamarac , Sunrise and now Davie . One never knows how much longer he will be in Davie. For all the above reasons , I have decided to forego seeing him. ( I commend Paula , from his office , to at least bringing him out to meet me for 2 minutes , unlike the first gal I met , who had insisted I complete the paperwork and show my insurance card )
This is another review for the office in Davie. I'm not sure what he's pushing, but the hygienist that saw me decided I needed a full mouth debridement after being a regular 6 month patient and never having issues with heavy calculus before. For reference, a full mouth debridement is defined as "A debridement is a procedure to remove thick or dense deposits on the teeth. It is required when tooth structures are so deeply covered with plaque and calculus that the dentist and staff cannot check for decay, infections or gum disease." and is usually recommended when a patient has not been seen by a dentist in years. I think the hygienist is just trying to up her production numbers. She wouldn't even explain her justification, nor listen to my concerns. Stay away unless you want to be pushed into higher producing services so they can get a bigger check from your insurance. I didn't even meet the doctor so I can't speak on his work/demeanor, but it says something that after taking over a long standing practice, you don't even try to meet the patients, nor did they even send anything out informing us of a take over.
This review is for the location in Davie, on University just south of 595. Dr. Valdman is AMAZING!! I had to have an extraction and implant done sooner than I was planning and I was terrified. He talked me through it and put me at ease, promising that it would take him FIVE minutes once he started. He made sure that I had plenty of anesthetic and didn't feel a thing. True to his word, he was in and out in no time. I am still amazed at how easy it was and how quickly it was over. I've had this same procedure before and had to go to one place for the extraction and another for the implant. Individually, each of those procedures took longer than Dr. Valdman did to do both. The office was responsive and helpful with a few questions that I called in with afterward - even right at closing time. Everyone that I've encountered (hygienists, assistants, admins, etc.) has been really friendly and courteous. The cost seems comparable to what I have paid in the past, too. Overall, I highly recommend this practice.
Went in for a cleaning where they took over my old dentists office, went there for years. They are like used car salesmen now. They pushed to have a procedure that was not covered by my insurance and when I can't afford it, they wouldn't clean my teeth. Hygienist was mean about it too. Terrible way to treat new patients. Find a different office,
He took over a practice in Davie. I've never had issues with my teeth. I went for my 6mth cleaning and he came in to check me. Right away starting telling me I should have a procedure done to prevent cavitys. I haven't had cavities for over 45 years my teeth are in excellent condition and gums I think he just wants money I was very disappointed I'm thankful I'm there just to see the hygienist
Very rude and incompetent front office staff. Terrible experience . Doctor himself is okay but he’s not there very often.
The office staff is completely incompetent and does not know how to deal with medical issues or with customer service. Doctor Vadim is skilled but these office workers will put him out of business. Literally every time I went there people were complaining and arguing with the front desk
