Wow. It is difficult to imagine a worse experience. After being rescheduled more than once, I literally saw him walk into the clinic over half an hour late, and then proceeded to wait another hour while I guess he caught up on seeing the other people ahead of me. When I finally saw him he was extremely brief, arrogant and left me with so many questions about my diabetes and my treatment. He even tried to get me into some study and visibly lost interest in me when I said I wasn't interested. I refuse to go back to that clinic and am asking my doctor to refer me to someone else as soon as possible.

I'll make it short and sweet. Staff is great but main reception swears on the phone when shes makes mistakes. I've had ALL the appts I've made with this doc rescheduled. In total that is three in the last year, I even had an appt confirmed than canceled twice on the same day two weeks ago. But this cancellation left me without life sustaining medication which I explained to the receptionist. She then stated that there would be a $20 fee for Rx renewal to be faxed to me pharmacy. WHAT!!! This was my final straw. I'm now seeing another doc. If this doctor cared more about his patients and less about his pocket book and travelling he would have a much better practice.

He was rude, innapropriate and arrogant WHEN I actually got to see him. Never have I had a doctor cancel that many appointments in my life! Diabetes is an every day illness! Type 1 Diabetics cant go months and months without seeing a doctor unless they have a death wish! So I ask to be referred elsewhere, and they tell me I need to see him to close my file...So what I got out of that was..."you are sh*t out of luck" because seeing him was impossible and I couldnt get a new doctor without that appointment. Needless to say a long rant over the phone got me referred elsewhere.

I can't give a rating for helpfulness or knowledge to a Doctor who cancels every appointment I've made for various different reasons. All of the staff are nice, but despite their best efforts at trying to accommodate my work schedule, my appointments always seem to get cancelled. So what is a type 1 diabetic, who is trying to live life the best way possible, supposed to do when her Doctor is absent from that equation? I suppose find a new doctor.

The staff have all been very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately though, I was emailed an appontment confirmation from one of the staff there, but they failed to actually mark it in their schedule. So when I showed up for my appointment, I ended up waiting for an hour and a half, since there was no appointment made for me. Luckily I still had the email to show. I was cancelled on, 2 different times at the last minute, prior to that. Dr. Aronson is knowledgeable, of course, and very to the point about things, which can be good, but his bedside manner leaves something to be desired. On numerous occasions I have been to see him where he has had a student or resident in the room with us. This I understand, as people have to learn somehow, but he spoke more about me in the 3rd person to the student, while I was sitting right there, than he did directly to me. He also has a tendency of using jargon that I just don't know the meaning of, which can make instructions extremely confusing.

Unfortunately, his schedule was delayed, however his concern was far greater that I was using his phone to prevent my wife worrying, rather than apologize for his 1 1/2 hour delay. At no time did he offer an apology, nor have any staff member concern themselves with the delay. Optionally, he could have made another appointment rather than keep the patient waiting on Valentine's Day. His bedside manner is poor, and would not tolerate the same treatment given to him. "excuse me, you are using my personal phone", is not acceptable. Considering much of his discussion could be heard pertaining to the previous patient, more effort could be made to attempt to excuse his delay or have his staff advise the patient.

Dr. Aronson sorted out my mother's diabetes in 3 visits. he undid the very complicated regimen thatour last 2 ENdocrinologists had cobbled together, which weren't working, and explained diabetes to her in a way that really turned her around. much simpler approach and her A1c has come down significantly. And gorgeous office - great staff.

I was referred to him by my family doctor but I am not very impressed. He has made me wait for excessive lengths of time, despite my being there first thing in the day, he has left me to see his Physician's Assistant who just looked me over but didn't do much. Once when he was talking to me, his cell phone rang and he took the call for about 10 minutes discussing his home renovation which I thought completely unprofessional.

What an arrogant, obstinate and disrespectful guy. I was shocked how uncaring, unprofessional and cold he is. Will never see him again in my life. First of all he is NOT a good specialist, he does not care about your well being - only about his pocket and his career. A dandy to entertain rich and famous, but no clue about service, good manners (I do not care for his pretense of "good manners"). Beware - he knows not what thyroid conditions are and how they should be treated. The guy has a serious ego issues and huge anger ones.
