This doctor removed a toenail that was ingrown, he acted like a stuck up snob the whole time and made me feel like a big baby. The needles into my toe for freezing were not pleasant and he was not gentle. I will never ask to see this dr again. have since had another procedure done( gallbladder) and requested another surgeon and was very pleased.

I found Dr. Bannon to lack any sort of empathy, very rude, and I agree with other users on this website that he had a "know it all" arrogant attitude. I think some people are not suited for their careers. Doctors require empathy. They should care about their patient's well-being. I do not think doctors should believe they know everything either. As human beings there's no way to know everything... people can make mistakes. I hope you read this Dr.Bannon and take this into further consideration when treating future patients.

Could not have asked for a better surgeon. After 3 years of complications with Chrons I opted to have an ileostomy. Dr. Bannon explained everything to me, pros and cons of the surgery and what to expect after. If surgery is needed down the road again, I would not hesitate to have him as my surgeon. Thanks to Dr.Bannon I have a new lease on life.

Since my mother died of colon cancer at the age of 67 I was pleased to hear Dr. Bannon explain the age the person had cancer is important because studies have shown that people with a first-degree relative with colon cancer or polyps don't have a higher risk of developing the disease themselves. A colonoscopy every 10 years is the new recommendation with Fecal Blood Tests in between - Wow, I'm so relieved!

I seen Dr. Bannon today. I had a gall bladder out back in 2003 and am still having the same pain. I seen Dr. Bannon 2 years ago and again now. He just shakes it off like no big deal. I wish he took the time to consider what toll this takes on a person. My 4yr old daughter and I walked out of there, and she was questioning me WHY he was such a mean person. Hopefully whoever he see's for the rest of today he will bother to open the file. Cause it was certainly a waste of my time. I have since called my family doctor back to fill them in on what kind of healthcare was recieved by sending me to him. Wish they would bring back Dr. Wilson.

Prior to my follow up visit (after ladder surgery) I was very impressed with Dr. Bannon. My second visit was for staple removal....in...out!! The only question asked was everything going as planned? There was no physical check done,..I was disappointed that he had forgotten to mention (during the visit) another procedure that I had to have performed.Very good surgeon, but as usual,...too busy to take the time!~!

My 8 year old son and I met with Dr Bannon, he immediately put both of us at ease. He was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and very caring. We had the post-surgery follow up last week and received the same care and concern. We are certainly blessed to have Dr. Bannon on the Island.

Dr. Bannon is the best. Such a pleasant man and always follows up on how you are doing.I just had my last follow up with him last week and I left feeling so at eae. He is so honest and is such a caring man. I feel so good knowing if I ever needed medical help that I would be in the best care. We on the Island are so fortunate to have such a doctor.

My experience with Dr Bannon, is that he was very knowledgeable, but since he was referring me on to another Dr, I got the impression that he didn't want to waste time on me. I don't feel that I got the attention or service deserved.
